It will be the largest “customized training” grant the administration has ever handed out.
During a ceremony at the casino in Atlantic City, Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno said the project has already created over 2,600 construction jobs and “brings a new promise of prosperity to this area.”
The training of prospective employees will be handled by Atlantic Cape Community College, teaching applicants leadership and communication skills as well as instruction regarding specific jobs at the resort.
Revel is scheduled to open in May with 5,000 new jobs. It will be Atlantic City‘s 13th casino.
