The state’s five Racinos brought in only $241.4 million from slots last year, with SunRay Park and Casino taking the biggest hit with a whopping 34 percent drop in revenue when compared to 2011. The Downs at Albuquerque and Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino saw small decreases in revenue and both Ruidoso Downs and Zia Park saw increases in revenue.

Tribal casinos brought in a total net win of $759.6 million in 2012, a 6.4 percent increase from 2011, and as a whole, statewide revenue from casino was up  3.9 percent from 2011.

New Mexico’s casinos paid the state a total of $131.4 million in gaming taxes.
