The Gaming Association has been lobbying to have Class III gambling added at these facilities and will be using these numbers to continue to do so.

“The most important fact of the New York gaming model is that it is, by far, for and about New Yorkers. And as this report shows, our nine existing facilities are tremendous economic assets that should be nurtured and developed,” New York Gaming Association president and part owner of Saratoga Casino & Raceway James Featherstonhaugh said.
The nine New York racinos also saw a 5 percent increase in revenues in the first quarter when compares to 2012.
