All agents have taken a 40-hour course which teaches them the rules for table games as well as common forms of cheating used at poker and craps tables.
“Every organized team that hits every jurisdiction will be coming to Ohio in some fashion,” said veteran Las Vegas-based casino security consultant George Joseph. “Your money’s green in Ohio. They’ll be coming that way.”
There will be three to four armed agents as well as a supervisor on duty at all times.
Though most dealers are trained to spot cheating, the agents will give them an extra hand.
