The Tribe’s PCI Gaming Authority owns and operates the Wind Creek Casino and Hotel, Creek Casino Montgomery, and Creek Casino Wetumpka, and provides 1600 jobs at its three properties. As part of this commitment, PCI Gaming is donating $100,000 toward the effort. PCI Gaming is also donating its renown culinary expertise to the fund-raising event. Chef Stafford DeCambra, corporate executive chef at Wind Creek Casino and a gold-medal winner in the Culinary Olympics, will be present at Bama Rising to offer “Sweet Gems from a Four-Diamond Resort” on the arena’s concourse. Concert-goers will have the chance to sample the bite-sized samplings in exchange for a donation to “Bama Rising”.
“BAMA RISING: A Benefit Concert for Alabama Tornado Recovery,” presented by Verizon, will take place at Birmingham’s BJCC Arena on Tuesday, June 14t. The concert will feature performances by Alabama, who is spearheading the event, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Sheryl Crow and numerous other artists.
“We have had hurricanes come through our part of the State, and we know how long it takes to rebuild. We want to continue to be of assistance to our neighbors in northern Alabama in the weeks and months ahead. This is not a task that can be completed easily or quickly.” commented Poarch Tribal Chairman Buford L. Rolin.
