The Rivers Casino was hit by most of the fines, being forced to pay the state $100,000 for various violations. Violations included table game employees ignoring an automatic shuffler’s red error light and improperly correcting Table Inventory Slips.
The casino also sent promotional materials to 93 persons on the Gaming Control Board’s Self-Exclusion List, which resulted in a $10,000 fine. Rivers Casino is also sending a letter of apology to all individuals who were affected by the error.
The Mount Airy Resort & Casino was fined $5,000 for issuing a player’s club card to an individual who was on the Self-Exclusion List and also allowing them to gamble.
