Pinnacle officials have projected they will be spending about  $250 million to $280 million in several phases at River Downs. The first phase will begin at the end of September and it will include the addition of 1,250 video lottery terminals, dining options and additional parking. The company may also eventually add a hotel to the property.

The Ohio Lottery Commission is currently reviewing a license application for the VLT facility at River Downs. 

Pinncale also operates L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles, L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge, Boomtown Casino New Orleans and Boomtown Casino & Hotel Bossier City, among others.
