Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas to Renovate its Race and Sports Book

The renovations will include an upgraded bar, seating, and video displays and gamblers will be able to use a new wagering app on their phone to gain access to a self-service wagering kiosk.
The project is a collaboration between Hill and the Plaza and construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
 

According to officials at The Plaza Hotel & Casino, the casino will be doing a major renovation on its race and sports book and hopes it will become the company's flagship sports book in downtown Las Vegas.
The announcement was made last week by sports book operator William Hill, which recently acquired three Nevada sports book operators. The company also operates sports books at Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel and the Four Queens Resort and Casino.
