Presque Isle had revenues of $13.6 million from slots and the Cleveland casino had gross revenue of $16.3 million.
“July was encouraging. We generated $25 million more in (wagers) than our Cleveland competition and paid back far more to our customers. We want to keep our players happy by giving them a chance to win more often and continue to provide a rewarding experience,” said Presque Isle Downs’ general manager Mike Tamburelli.
Slot machine revenue totaled $212.9 million at all 11 Pennsylvania casinos, down 2.5 percent from July 2011. When the new Valley Forge Casino Resort, which opened March 31, was not included in the totals the revenue decreased by 4.09 percent.
