The two new lounges, which will serve as private clubs for the Resorts Players’ Club members, will be much nicer than the previous ones and will feature bars, dining areas and buffets with contemporary decor and an earth tone color scheme.
“It feels warm and friendly. It feels sophisticated,” said Courtney Birmingham, a spokesperson for the casino. “It’s a huge upgrade to what our players were used to. It was important for us to give them something that they wanted to come to.”
In addition go the new VIP lounges, the renovations at Resorts will include a $35 million Margaritaville-themed restaurant, bar and casino scheduled to open on Memorial Day weekend.
