Resorts World, which opened at Aqueduct nine months ago, features thousands of video slot machines and electronic table games. Since opening, it has brought in almost a half-billion dollars in net revenue, which in turn has created $330 million in direct revenue for the state with over $212 million going towards education.

“It’s clear that New Yorkers and tourists alike are aware that they no longer have to get on a highway or airplane to have a wonderful, world-class gaming experience,” said Resorts World President Michael Speller .

Empire City at Yonkers Raceway had the second-highest revenue for a New York Casino in July, bringing in about $15 million less than Resorts World.
