Rhode Island Voters To Decide if Table Games Should Be Allowed in State's Two Casino

Currently, both Rhode Island casinos only offer video lottery terminals which offer slots and electronic versions of blackjack, keno, and poker.

State officials have announced that a proposal will appear on the November ballot in Rhode Island to expand gambling at Twin River Casino and Newport Grand Slots, the state's two casinos.
The announcement was made after the Rhode Island Supreme Court decided against expediting an appeal from the Narragansett Indian tribe to keep the proposal off the ballot.
