The upscale hotel tower will feature three different types of suites as well as standard rooms and an outdoor and indoor pool and fitness center. The Margaritaville Casino will add 45,000 square feet of new gaming space and will feature 750 gaming machines and 20 table games.
According to officials at the Oklahoma casino, the expansion will create approximately 800 new jobs and have an economic impact of $135.4 million.
“The construction of this exciting project alone is expected to bring a $225 million dollar economic impact during the 18-24 months of building,” Tulsa Regional Chamber president and CEOMike Neal said. “This impacts each of us, from the small business vendors supplying materials to the construction worker who shops at our local grocery stores and retailers.”
The project is expected to cost $250 million and should take about two years to complete.
