The sale will be organized by Content Liquidators, an Ohio-based firm that has ran liquidation sales and auctions for other hotels and casinos, including The Dunes Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and the Sands Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. The list of items offered at the “everything-must-go sale” include the casino’s poker room sign, bedroom furnishings, fixtures, chandeliers in several shapes and sizes, escalators and even restaurant equipment.
“We are expecting a huge turnout. Some people may want to buy a piece of memorabilia, other items will be sold to commercial buyers, We typically get a lot of commercial buyers.” said Content Liquidators spokeswoman, Meredith Lunsford.
A $10 admission will be charged during the first four days of the sale. The sale is open to locals, visitors, and any person interested in acquiring a piece of the iconic Strip resort.
