Seminole Coconut Creek Casino signs new $100 million renovation and expansion deal

The renovation project is scheduled to be complete in December, 2011 and will add 45,700 square feet of gaming floor area to the casino, as well as other improvements to the existing 40,000 square foot casino. Works include upgrades to the interior finishes, relocation and reconfiguring the cage operations and gaming positions, and an upgraded and expanded poker room and a deli.

In addition to the casino expansion Moss/Anderson will build a new 7-level parking garage and new retail and restaurant areas as well as an expanded valet and players club area. The parking garage will be 1,250,000 square feet, and accommodate approximately 2,400 vehicles. The LEED goal for the garage is SILVER Certification and is currently a LEED-BD +C VERSION 2009 Registered Project.

Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Coconut Creek Casino offers more than 1,900 slot machines, a wide area progressive slot machines, and an exclusive smoke-free Poker Room offering a wide array of tournaments and games. Live games include Texas Hold ‘em, 7-Card Stud, and Omaha tournaments from $85 to $1,050. In December 2010, the casino added The Site, its newest building offering 400-plus gaming positions, 70 new blackjack seats, a non-smoking gambling area, a new restaurant, The Whistle Stop and the Wrecking Bar.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is located just east of State Road 7 (U.S. 441) and north of Sample Road at 5550 NW 40th Street.
