The renovation project is scheduled to be complete in December, 2011 and will add 45,700 square feet of gaming floor area to the casino, as well as other improvements to the existing 40,000 square foot casino. Works include upgrades to the interior finishes, relocation and reconfiguring the cage operations and gaming positions, and an upgraded and expanded poker room and a deli.

In addition to the casino expansion Moss/Anderson will build a new 7-level parking garage and new retail and restaurant areas as well as an expanded valet and players club area. The parking garage will be 1,250,000 square feet, and accommodate approximately 2,400 vehicles. The LEED goal for the garage is SILVER Certification and is currently a LEED-BD +C VERSION 2009 Registered Project.

“We are all proud to be working on this important project for the Seminole Tribe of Florida.  We know how much it means to the economy of South Florida to be able to put people to work now and in the future when the expansion is opened,” said  Andrew McAllister, Vice President for Moss.
