“Show in the Sky” at the Rio is Las Vegas Set to Close

The show, which opened at the Las Vegas casino in 1997 at an initial cost of $25 million, features a parade of carnival-themed showboats and gondolas that are suspended from the ceiling with dancers and performers throwing beads to the crowds.

Casino visitors can also buy tickets to ride a float and be a part of the show.

The show will hold its final performance on Saturday, March 30, at 11 p.m. There is currently nothing scheduled to take its place.
