In September, Pennsylvania’s 11 casinos generated a total of $59.3 million from table games, up from last September’s $51.4 million. While this year’s numbers also include $2.9 million from Valley Forge Casino Resort, which just opened in March, revenue was still up a little less than 10 percent when compared to last year.
Revenue from table games was up more than 50 percent from September 2011 at Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem and Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh saw revenue increase by over 20 percent. Sugarhouse Casino in Philadelphia had an increase in revenue of less than 5 percent.
Overall, including slots, gross revenue at Pennsylvania casinos was up 3.3 percent for the month when compared to last September.
