The Ohio racino will be adding a total of 1,100 VLTs, which should be launched in April when racing also resumes at the track. No exact opening date has currently been scheduled.
Thistledown will also be adding a 1950s-style diner, sports bar, burger restaurant, deli and a restaurant-bar featuring Mexican cuisine and slushy-style cocktails. There will also be an outdoor area that will allow smokers to play the VLT machines as well.
The Scioto Downs harness track, also in Ohio, premiered its VLTs in June and has since grossed over $79 million in revenue.
