Three Rivers Casino in Oregon Planning Major Expanasions

Casino officials hope the additions will help draw more visitors from Canada, Washington, California, and the Portland metro area with a mix of features that not many other Oregon casinos offer.
There is also a second expansion planned that will potentially involve the addition of retail shops and a boutique hotel.
The Confederated tribes will need between $16 million to $20 million to begin the first phase of the expansion, which officials hope to have by early next year.

Officials at the Three Rivers Casino & Hotel in Florence, Oregon are planning a some major expansions to turn the property into a destination resort.
The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians, who own the casino, hope to double the number of hotel rooms to 200, build a 60-space overnight RV park, and add a nonsmoking restaurant and indoor aquatic center to the property, all by mid-2014. The multimillion-dollar project will be funded by loans and is expected to add about 200 jobs to the casino's current employee count.
