Once the work is completed, the Tropicana will have 400 suites, including new suites ranging from 450 to 2,170 square feet. Located in the North Tower, Tropicana’s 26 luxury suites come with round-the-clock butler and concierge service, wet bars and other services and amenities. According to Tropicana AC president Tony Rodio, the North Tower is most desired to high rollers due its proximity to the gambling floor.
The 14th and 15th floors of the casino’s North Tower have been re-done to create the new “Cielo” suites, with a total of 88 rooms consolidated into 26 new suites. Rodio says the new suites are part of the casino’s new strategy to bring more high rollers to the Atlantic City casino. Most of the rooms will be comped for high rollers, but some will be available to be rented, particularly on weekdays. The top-of-the-line suite could go for $4,000 to $5,000 a night, depending on the date and occupation.
Located on the beach and Boardwalk, Tropicana Casino & Resort offers more than 2,100 rooms and suites and home of The Quarter, 24 hour casino and 200,000 square foot entertainment complex. Other services and amenities include more than 20 restaurants, 20 shops, 14 bars and lounges, 2 pools, an IMAX Theatre and a spa.
