The Canada Day Mega Stack Poker Showdown features a $1,000 + $100 buy-in and offers players $20,000 in starting chips and  30-minute levels, concluding with 40-minute rounds at the final table.  The tournament is limited to 72 seats. Players interested in participating in the event can register online or in person at The Tropicana Resort and Casino in Las Vegas

The event will also be recorded and distributed internationally on several TV networks. TV coverage will be directed by L.A. Poker Television Producer Jonnie Kedj, who has produced poker television for the World Poker Tour, Celebrity Poker Showdown and most recently Poker Stars’ “The Big Game”. Event coverage and interviews will also be streamed online with TV hostess Amanda Leatherman.
