Perhaps the most noticeable part of the redesign is the 16-foot murals of a woman’s eyes surrounded by neon palms that is behind each of the guest beds. Officials at the Las Vegas casino say the art is integral in the remodel.
“I ask people who have stayed at hotels from the Four Seasons in Manhattan to the mansions at MGM if they remember the artwork on the walls,” said Palms President Joe Magliarditi. “Usually, they can’t remember. We wanted to provide something people would remember.”
The Palms also recently redesigned its pool area, sports book and poker room and will later be updating the check-in area and the casino floor.
Rates for the newly updated rooms begin at $79 per night.
