Washoe County Casinos Lose Money for Fourth Straight Fiscal Year in 2012

According to the annual Nevada Gaming Abstract report from the state Gaming Control Board, Washoe casinos reporting $1 million or more in gross revenues for the 12-month period ending last June 30 showed a combined loss of $102.7 million.

These same casinos lost $44.5 million in the 2011 fiscal year.

Nevada casinos as a whole saw an increase in revenue, up to to $22.9 billion from $22 billion last year.
