The $1 million No-Limit Hold’em tournament will feature 100 qualifiers who have played and cashed in at least one of the 15 WSOP Circuit stops held this season. The 2010-2010 WSOP-C featured a total of 154 qualifying gold ring events held at 15 WSOP Circuit locations. The national tournament series attracted 20,000 poker players, however, only the top 100 ranked finalists will get a chance to play the inaugural WSOP Circuit National Championship in Las Vegas.
Players participating in the 2010-2011 WSOP-C had four different opportunities to qualify to the WSOP Circuit National Championship. Fifteen spots were awarded to Main Event winners from each stop, another 15 seats were awarded to the Best All-Around Player at each stop, and 36 seats were reserved for players at the final table at the four Regional Championships, Finally, 37 “at-large” spots were reserved to the top point earners on the WSOP-C National Leaderboard.
The $1 million Guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em tournament will begin at 12 noon at Caesars Palace Poker room and runs over the following three days. Fans around the country will have the chance to follow the final table action on The Versus Network.
