All of the casinos in Kansas City, Missouri are housed on riverboats. They are not required to cruise, however, so all of the casinos in Kansas City on the Missouri side are built barges which gives them the appearance of a land-based building, rather than a riverboat.

Unless otherwise noted, all casinos offer: slots, video poker, craps, blackjack, roulette, and three card poker. Optional games include: baccarat (B), mini-baccarat (MB), caribbean stud poker (CSP), poker (P), pai gow poker (PGP), let it ride (LIR), Spanish 21 (S21), and four card poker (FCP).
If you win a jackpot of $1,200 or higher, in Missouri, the casinos will withhold 4% of your winnings for the Missouri Department of Revenue. You can to try get that money refunded, by filing a state income tax return and, depending on the details of your return, you may get some of it back. That $1,200 amount would also apply to cash prizes won in casino drawings or tournaments.

There are two different types of casinos in Kansas City, Kansas. One is state owned and operated, while the other is an Indian casino.
No information is released about the payback percentages on electronic gaming machines at state-operated casinos in Kansas. However, the state’s gaming regulations require that the machines return at least 87%.
Indian casinos in Kansas also do not release information on their slot machine payback percentages. However, according to tribal-state compacts, “the minimum payback percentage for electronic gaming devices is 80%.”
Both Kansa City casinos are open 24 hours. The state-run casino offers the following games: slot machines, video poker, video keno, blackjack, craps and roulette. Other games include: poker, pai gow poker, mini-baccarat, let it ride, Mississippi stud, three card poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and bingo.
The Indian casino only has gaming machines and does not offer any table games. The minimum gambling age is 21 at both of the Kansas City casinos.
