Binion’s Gambling Hall: Binion’s Poker Classic starts May 30 and runs through July 11.  The Four Queens Hotel & Casino, Binion’s sister property, is offering all Poker Classic participants a $24 midweek rate and a $52 rate on the weekends.  In addition, players with a receipt from any Binion’s Poker Classic event will be given $25 in chips after one hour of live play in Binion’s Hall of Fame Poker Room.  The receipt is good one time and must be used within 48 hours of the tournament event. From the first event on May 30 to the last on July 11, Binion’s will seat players for 43 different games, with five No Limit Hold’em events and two specialty events each week throughout the tournament. The specialty events include H.O.R.S.E, PLO 8 and Limit Omaha 8.  The Main Event will take place over two days starting June 30, and has the highest buy-in of the Poker Classic at $1,000.  Some events are as little as $100 buy-ins, while most fall within $150-$200 range.  Generally, the buy-ins at the Binion’s Poker Classic are about one-tenth of the World Series of Poker events.  To participate in any of the Binion’s Poker Classic events, players register the day of the event in which they would like to play.  Registration opens two hours prior to the start time.  For the special room rate at the Four Queens, reservations may be made in advance by calling 800-634-6045.  Players will need to show their receipt from a Binion’s Poker Classic event to receive the special rate.

Imperial Palace: Matsuri is offering an incredible deal for Las Vegas locals to see their show at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. From now until May 31, locals can purchase tickets to the show for only $20 (plus box office fees and tax) with a Nevada ID.  Since the terrible earthquake and tsunami struck Japan last month, the show has been collecting donations at each performance to assist with relief efforts at home. In addition, through the month of May, Matsuri will donate $5 for each locals ticket purchased to the American Red Cross. The show has already raised over $2,000 and hopes to reach $10,000 by the end of May. The production show, comprised of 15 Japanese nationals, features traditional and contemporary Japanese culture through acrobatics, gymnastics, dance, and comedy.  Matsuri performs at 4:00 p.m. Saturdays through Wednesdays and 8:00 p.m. on Fridays.  The show is dark Thursdays. Fitzgeralds: Hosting “Luck-O-Motion to Winning” drawings. $25,000 in cash and daily prizes are being awarded nightly through May 28. Sahara: The Sahara Hotel will close on May 16 with ownership saying it was “no longer economically viable” to keep the nearly 60-year-old iconic Strip resort operating.  Hotel rooms will be honored through the closing as well as all club promotions.

Tropicana: “Even the Odds” New Member Promotion, through June 30, 2011. New members (not previously a member of any Tropicana Players Club under current or former names) receive reimbursement for 1st day slot loss up to $200 (reimbursed in free slot play: 50% of loss is reimbursed same gaming day; 50% of loss will be available in free slot play starting on the 3rd day of the following calendar month; valid for 1 year).  For example, if your actual loss on your initial visit is between $20-$29, you will receive $10 in free play reimbursement on the same day and $10 in free play available the following month.  $200 maximum reimbursement.
