Jerry’s Nugget: The first jewel in the Triple Crown commences with the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. Jerry’s Nugget Casino gets in on the action with a full course of Derby wagering and food specials on Saturday, May 3. Throughout the day, guests can wager on the race and receive bonus gifts. Ladies betting at the window will be greeted with a rose in celebration of the Run for the Roses. In addition, a 2014 Kentucky Derby Commemorative Glass will be given to anyone placing a $10 minimum Derby wager. $10 Jerry’s Nugget dining cards will be offered free to bettors making a $25 minimum wager on the Derby matchup parlay card, a Jerry’s Nugget exclusive. Limit two glasses and one dining card per guest, while supplies last.

Beginning early Saturday morning, May 3 at 10 a.m., guests can head to the Race and Sports Book for complimentary donuts and coffee made fresh from the Jerry’s Nugget bakery. From noon to 4 p.m., hand-carved track sandwiches, a Jerry’s Nugget signature delight, will be served for $2 each at the Race and Sports Book. Track Sandwiches include Jerry’s famous brisket or roasted turkey on a fresh homemade roll.

For every $25 bet on pari-mutual play, receive $1 in comp valid for food and shopping at Jerry’s Nugget. That’s a 4-percent comp return on all race wagers. El Cortez: Take part in celebrating the legendary Kentucky Derby during the Kentucky Oaks and Derby viewing parties in The Fiesta Room on May 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests are invited to place their bets and enjoy $1 hot dogs, $2 Budweiser drafts and $2 mint juleps. Las Vegas Hotel (LVH): Offering a room rate special to World Series Of Poker (WSOP) employees. Using group code ZWSOP guests will be entitled to rates of $42 plus tax per night.
