Complete joke of a casino when it comes to payouts. I've given this place numerous tries, not just once but the payback % has to be the lowest in any casino I've ever been to. The payouts are consistently poor. I'd recommend this casino as a last resort option or a great place to go if you like donating your money.

Don't go to Wind Creek Casino...you won't win here and the place is extremely depressing. You'll show up and you won't see a single person win. The highest payout on the machines are only 1200-1500 dollars and that's for the biggest jackpot available! I decided to go here instead of the extra 1 1/2 to biloxi and man I should've kept on driving to biloxi. The first time I went to Atmore I lost 400 in less than 2 hours! I couldn't believe it. I went back the second time because I figured it was just bad luck and I lost 300 within 2 hours...I left. I went back about 3 years later and I lost 200 within 1 hour and thats the last time for me. I tried eating at the cafe and the service totally sucks. They'll sit you down and won't come back to take your order. The second time I went they set me down, took my order and took 30 minutes for a 15 dollar hamburger. The third time I had the buffet and it was ok...nothing like biloxi. If you want to go to waste money and see a lot of depressed people that don't smile or make any noise from winning...go to Atmore. I will never gamble on a Indian Reservation ever again.

We have been here several times and can't say enough good things about it. I have read some of the negative comments and wonder if we were at the same casino. I only have one complaint and that is something went wrong with several machines we had been playing and it took wayyyyyyyy too long for a slot person to come fix it. My husband had to actually go looking for a person each time and then at different times, we would see groups of slot personnel (wearing red shirts) standing around talking. But other than that, this is a beautiful casino and the rooms are excellent. The customer service was superb, super friendly and accommodating. Our money also lasted longer at this casino than most others. We will definitely be back......truly was a great experience!

This casino has class 2 slot machines and are not regulated by the federal government, this means that the payout percentage is only determined in-house and regulated only by the organization/tribe. Their games at certain times seem to payout 20 percent meaning put a hundred in a machine and win 20 dollars.Put 500 into a machine and it might only payout a hundred dollars.Ive been a club member for awhile and this is not just based on personal experience but everyone else I know that refuses to go there. You cannot have an enjoyable experience with that kind of house advantage.I realize the house has the advantage and you will walk away losing some of the time. However there payouts are so ridiculous that you cant really have an enjoyable experience.Avoid the games! However there accommodations are great from what I hear, just dont gamble.

Ditto everyone else here, mostly. The hotel is ok and the atmosphere is as well. But keep your money tucked away and if gambling is your thing, keep driving west about another 2 hours and go to Biloxi. Much better chance and odds with your money there. The wumpum keep takin money from pale skin at Wind Creek.

I agree with all of the other complaints about this place. Even when it looks like you might make a few bucks, the slots will take your winnings and whatever else you put in the machine. Don't go, save your money for Biloxi, at lease there you might come out even..

This place is a joke. Food is average, customer service is poor and the slots are the tightest anywhere. The only thing decent is the hotel, but if you stay there then they just take your money for the room as well as your money from the slots.

Most everything the others have stated about this place is right on. The best part about it is the hotel. It's new so it's nice. Once it wears, then in ten years, only die hards will be going. Slots are ridiculous. "eats twenties like a ravenous dog", I concur with that assessment. Of course if you have money to piss away then Wind Creek is your place.

This casino has machine that jumps and take bonus and winnings, and when complain to the staff, you areignored. I have went several time and have lost 1000's and won 0, it took a while for that light to come on and see this is a rip off. They feel they federal reserved and can't be touched. I say again if you going for fun enjoy, but hopes of winning anything, save what you haveand do the best you can with it.

Let me see, you can have free drinks, but I only had one server take my order for a beer and I never got the beer. The slots were the worst I have ever played.

Stood in line for an hour to get a players card, I don't know why it only worked in half of the machines. The food was a joke. At least one ticket redeemer was out of order on every station with long lines to get your money.

I was with a small group and we all had the same treatment. We were there for 8 hours. I will not say how much money we lost, but I will say that the Great Indian nation is alive and well and still SCALPING people for their money..... Never again!

Stayed there last night. Game play was terrible and tight. Never saw a soul hit anything, with the exception of a drawing for a motorcycle. People were excited to get cherries on the slots ;) Afterwards I felt like I had been "had". I mean, you can't always hit a big one, but you could at least win enough to keep playing a while and have a good time. Those machines eat twenties like a ravenous dog. $200.00 was gone in about an hour and I called it a night....at 8PM.

It was HOT as hades in the casino. I was dripping with sweat. I was told there was an "issue" they were working to resolve, but it was terrible. The room I reserved was a "package" that included $20 game play and 2 free buffets. When checking in, the hostess didn't know how to set up the Club card and had no idea how to give me the free play or buffets. She finally got the card for me and told me the buffet credits were on the card. At dinner, I presented the card and was told that the buffet deal was actually a flyer. The lady at the restaurant told me she would handle it and gave me a receipt. When the room bill came, the buffets had been charged to the room. I had to go back to the front desk and spend 15-20 mins getting my money back. I was told that reserving their rooms over the internet with packages "didn't really work well there" and they had no way of verifying what I was telling them. They did finally give me back my money. The food at the buffet was pretty good for what it is. Better than some casino buffets I have had.

The hotel itself is first class and very nice, and the pool area is fantastic. Just not so sure I would go out of my way to return due to the game play issue. I would probably head to Mississippi instead. Hate to say that as I am an Alabama resident, but I really did not have fun in the casino.

I had visited the casino prior to the grand opening to the public as part of a test group and was surprised/disappointed at how things were today.? First I don't think they were prepared for the crowd. Since there were so many disappointments I decided to write them out by each one and then I will list the positives.

Members Club - The lines for the Members Club were extremely long (the entire day and night).? It was a long process to get the card.? Then when you used your card the pin didn't work (computer error) and points weren't being applied properly.? I would have gone to Member services to complain or get help but that would have required me to stand in line for an hour.?

Slots (Payouts)- First I want to say that the payout for these machines today was pitiful.? I am disappointed that a week earlier before the "grand opening" the machines were hitting large jackpots such as 20k, 50k and etc...several people I know including my husband won at least a couple of thousand dollars.? Well here we are a week later and the highest jackpot won was barely 5k.? There were a couple of others that won 2k but not many.? The machines just were not hitting ..period.? I realize that you are gambling and can lose money but seriously there was a marked difference in the payouts.? The payouts on these machines seem to be around 85% instead of where most machines pay 95%- 98%.

The second slot issue was that the machines would not accept the cash payout slips.? When you would insert them in another machine they would read as unavailable.? This was only complicated by the fact the cashout machines were very few and most were broken.? I personally stood in line for 45 minutes waiting for a technician to come and fix the machine (took them maybe two minutes).? My only other option would have been to go the cashier and the lines were ridiculous.? Everyone I spoke too said they would not come back if they paid like this and most had lost all their money.? I realize a casino has to make money BUT payouts as pitiful as this and how infrequent they occurred will keep most people away.? I too lost out today...would have been glad to just break even.

Buffet - The good thing is that we were given a free buffet.? The bad news was that again the lines were long. ..like almost out the door long.? I waited in line for an hour to eat.? But the food was good and it was a nice variety.? I can not comment on the other restaurants.

Customer Service - There were a lot of customer service walking around and if you needed help they did go the extra mile to help you.? My only complaint would be when a machine broke, you had to hunt them down.? You also had to hunt down the waitresses too.? You do get free drinks while you are playing so I believe that is a positive (although drinking and gambling are a sure way to lose money).?

The hotel is very attractive.? I am excited to see what the rooms look like.? The only reason (at this time) that I am going back is because I have comp rooms and free play money.? Other than that I probably would be going to another casino for better pay back.? I truly hope that maybe this was a first day extreme that all these problems can get taken care of.? ?

Payout Slips - There was a computer error and the payout slips were being read as invalid when you tried to use them in another machine.? So unless you wanted to stand in line at the Cashier area for probably an hour you had to put more cash in the machine or go to the cash out machines.? The only problem with that was also the long lines and then some of the machines were broke.? I personally stood in line for 45 minutes waiting for a technician to come fix the machine (took maybe a minute)
