I have been a loyal player to this Coconut Indian casinos since day one.
In the past you would hear bells going off and people winning big & small Jackpots , plenty of people on the floor to help.
Now you walk in and once in a while you see a person on the floor. The reason they need so little help is because very few jack pots go off and the floor help like the past is not needed,
I never expect to win every time , but NOW its just HORRIFIC and I guess that the way its going to be
If you didn't know how it was in the past, you would just think this is normal that the slot machines are so tight that the metal is cracking. They are not regulated by the state and can make the pay outs whatever they feel they want and they do.
I noticed that recently getting a bonus rounds paying NOTHING?? I couldn't believe it.
Never saw that for years and all of a sudden its happens quite often. Wonder Why??
Its sad that a place of business is allowed to fleece the public with no one to protect us..
ENOUGH SAID!
since they redid the place i cant seem to win anything, i have lost so much money and have yet to win a dime back.
I visited florida last week and stopped by this casino. After reading the reviews i was not sure i wanted to go. After spending 7 hours there i cannot see what all the complaints are about. They have all the newest machines. The place was extremely clean and bright. The staff could not be more pleasant. I went to 5 different casinos that week and this was the best by far. My money last me the longest there in fact i came out 600 dollars ahead. I played so many machines i can't rememeber all i played. If you want variety this place can't be beat. I had no problem getting play time at any machine. I go to florida once a year and will make it a point to go back there.
I used to have fun before all the new machines went in. now it sucks,
they did away with the buffet passes and free money to play in their mailing brochures.
used to have less lines on machines, didn't cost so much with each spin. guess i'll try somewhere else!!!!!!!!
The casino was under construction when we were there (Oct. 30, 2011), and rather crowded since a lot of the playing area was shut off. Also, there had just been a lot of rain in the area, all of the parking lots were totally flooded which left no place to park. Not too convenient. The place seems smokey to me and I didn't see any place to get a lunch snack except out in a tent in the rain and humid weather. Also, that seemed like the only place to sit down and watch a football game. Guess they don't want to to do that so they make it inconvenient and uncomfortable? Didn't stay long so can't comment accurately on how the slots payout but didn't win while we were there.
When they had the older style bingo machines the winnings were more liberal. With the
newer machines forget it. It's hard to win anything! Lots of zero payouts on bonuses and
the bonuses are far few in between. In the past, the host and hostesses would walk
around and speak with you and ask how it's going. Now all they do is hide in the
High Limit slot room. They don't like to walk around because all they hear are complaints.
Slot Machines =
Poor payouts
Zero payout bonuses
Poor customer service
$2 just to get one point on your card
Food at the restaurant is no longer good
Smoke fills every nook and cranny
The one thing you can learn by going to this casino is how you never want to look. Like many reviews above me, this used to be a place to go and you could sit and play for a while and win or lose. Now i watch people sit and dump cash because they simply refuse to believe how much it's changed and think they are "due to win". It's so bad, and then to watch the women finally hit a worthless bonus round and then sit back in their chairs and light a cigarette like they just got done having sex, it's an absolute riot. If you don't believe me just look for yourself, everyone who used to go there knew it was sometimes a 30-minute wait to get paid for a "special" win. The clipboard used to have 75-100 names a night on it. Now the board has maybe 5. It's a joke. Do you think they are stupid? They payout early to get you in and then string you along like little children. Saddest part is, doesn't matter what i say, people still go there and try to win. I am a poker player and one time i complained about the poker room a casino supervisor looked me straight in the eye and told me "we make more off one machine than we do for the entire poker room. We should put machine in there as well". What does that tell you!!!
A couple of years ago this casino was fun to go to. You could play for hours and maybe end up losing a little or break even. Once in awhile even win something decent. I was an elite club holder. Then all of a sudden in the last year or so they have gotten greedy and the machines are very tight. Within an hour I've lost $200.00 playing 2 cent machines. Never win anything anymore. The bonus rounds don't even pop up until you've sunk in about $100.00. Then when you do get one they are very small and I've even gotten "0" yes that's right zero on a bonus a few times. Now I'm a platinum player because they took everything I had and when they see you aren't giving them as much they put you down not looking at what you had given them prior. It's a NO WIN situation there anymore. They suck you in and once they got you they take everything you got. Will not be going there ever again and a lot of people I met there say the same thing. Too bad they don't care about the people. I can't say one thing nice about that place anymore I just wish I had opened my eyes up a little sooner.
This casino sends perks you can actually use....week-end jaunts across the state with friends in tow...lol The food in the buffet is tremendous..! The best ever...( and I've been to Vegas ! )....they send buffet perks and free play and have some of the funnest promotions around... The slots are newer and fun also lotsa penny slots....wish they had a hotel on site...the last Polka Band they had was tremendous too..I don't always win there...but at least SOMETIMES win...and if we don't win...at least we get a wonderful buffet perk to find comfort in...
Coconut creek casino is the worst.. They tighten the machines. you cant win. your players club card is constantly monitored while in the machine you are playing.. if you have money they will kiss your ass, if you lose all your money, they will walk past you. If you want to be treated like you deserve to be treated ... Go to the hard rock or the Isles and trust me you will be treated much better.
The only thing this casino has going for it is the diverse array of slot machines - that's about it!
It's small, has low ceilings, dirty, extra smoky and the worst customer service. If your machine needs service, plan on sitting there for a while waiting.
Also, the clientele is a little dicey and they do seem to have a larger than normal security presence.
Do yourself a favor, go one exit up to The Isle in Pompano.
?
Decent casino but very smokey. Lots of 5 cent vp
Despite recent significant expansion, this remains a cozy venue and a favorite of locals. Amenities are minimal, but the staff is friendly and helpful and payouts seem to be more generous than at the Hollywood Hard Rock a little farther south.
