Not a bad casino as they go. This place has high ceilings so you don't smell the smoke and the inside is attractive and not too dark. There were plenty of different slots and you could find one to play on, except the 5 cent video poker slots. They were always full with people lined up as soon as someone left. Rather nice center bar and the personnel were friendly and the entertainment was good.
We had the dinner buffet and it certainly left something to be desired. The food was tasteless and several of the meats were tough. Certainly would not go back there to eat but the casino was OK. As usual, the slots don't pay but that's no different from any other casino. Did not try the table games and I noticed that this place has a lot of electronic table games for some reason.

There are no table games at The Isle but they do offer the digital version of blackjack. Slots are very tight and although they have quite a few video poker machines most are low denomination machines like 5 cents. They have a number of $1, 2 and 5 machines but no multi-hand machines more than $1 dollar. The pay tables are also lousy and if you're a video poker player stay far away from the Isle at Pompano Park.

Do not bother with the lunch buffet. Very small food selection. Low quality. I asked for extra napkins, server provided me with one napkin even though there were two of us. Better off with the Burger King that is two blocks north on Powerline. The money you save is better off losing it in the slot machine. More fun!

A very nice place to watch the races and eat a good meal while enjoying yourself smoke free. I always feel like I have to take a shower any time I go into the Indian casinos so this was a nice change. I'll be back.

This is my favorite Florida casino for many reasons, but first and foremost... it's smoke-free. As an asthmatic, I am unable to spend more than a half hour in a smoke filled room without becoming ill.

The Isle provides a clean, well-staffed, well-designed atmosphere with a diverse array of slot machines. Another important factor that compels me to return every weekend is - I win... often.

During a recent vacation, I won 3 jackpots in 4 days. Also, as a Paradise Player's Card holder, I receive many free gifts, food, promotions, etc. I actually have a closet full of free gifts I've yet to open.

Probaly one of the nicest casinos in Fl. No smoke and very clean but no full pay vp until u hit the $2.00 range.

The Isle at Pompano Park is the nicest of the 3 racinos that have opened. The $170 million facility is on a par with newer non-luxury Las Vegas facilities as far as the gaming floor is concerned.



The slots have a posted payout of around 91.85% but the video poker double double bonus even at both the $1 and $5 machines is 8/5. The 25 cent machines are 7/5.



The facility has 4 restaurants but strangely they close early. The buffet is fairly price but the food at its best is average. The deli is pretty good and there's also a fancy Italian restaurant and a steakhouse.



As far as the video poker is concerned there are no 100 or 50 play machines and the only multi-play machines are $1 and there are only 2 of those.



If you want to play this is the best place but they are missing some of the better machines.
