I played slots at Ballys on our trip to LAS VEGAS in APRIL & SEPTEMBER. I won $80.00 on a YAHTZEE machine in SEPT.
I was so happy. I PLAYED QUITE A WHILE ON THAT MACHINE AND A HOT PENNY MACHINE. WE HAVE STAYED AT
BALLYS AND IT WAS NICE. iT IS EASIER FOR OUR FRIENDS WHO LIVE IN HENDERSON,NV TO PICK US UP AT
HARRAHS. I also saw the price is right show and liked it. We hope to go back to Vegas in the spring.

I always stay at Bally's in Vegas. It's a great location, very nice rooms and the customer service is awesome! The main reason I like it is that I'm in Vegas to gamble, not see pirate ships and volcanoes. Their casino is geared more for gambling. Sure, if I want to see sights I can always check out other places, but I feel that Bally's has a good gambling atmosphere. Gaming floor is uncomplicated, nice and open. You can also walk over to Paris for that type of thing. I also like their pool area and had great service there too .

Yes, when built as the MGM, this was a great hotel. But on my last stay here, when I told a friend that I was staying at Bally's, he said "why?" A very good question. The place is perfectly fine, and has a great location. It has a casino floor that you can see all at once from the somewhat raised area around check-in, which is perfect for those of you who easily get lost in a casino (think the current MGM). It is now connected to the Paris hotel. But there is nothing here that otherwise sets this place apart from other perfectly fine, but nothing special hotels and casinos. And whatever you do, don't go downstairs to the "shopping mall"...20 years ago, this was a fine shopping area, but now has the same types of kiosks and stuff that you find in the stores at the stratosphere...so depressing that you want to get back up that escalator and retreat.

Wife and I had a great time at Bally's this week! We even won a few dollars on the slots! The slot staff was the friendliest in town - they really made us feel that our business was appreciated.

Anything Harrah's touches turns stale and Bally's is no exception. It's not so much that anything is "wrong" but much is just plain mediocre.

There's little pop or sizzle in this steak - merely mundane. It's a safe bet but no jackpot. I prefer a place with a little charm, a little touch of old Vegas character, something infinitely more interesting.

It is in a good location with decent rooms and amenities with a respectful staff and reasonable rates, but it just lacks the charisma and style that still remains available both on the Strip and Downtown. It's as warm and inviting as stainless steel.

We check in late. room was not ready. so they put us in a suite WOW! This was very nice, next day had our room ready so we had to move.

I don't play slots so not much to say there, but craps table was nice. Dealers were great. We got hooked on keno while eating in sidewalk cafe which was a very nice place. They give points on players card, same as playing. Mon Ami Gabi was very nice, the food was great.

Our flight was canceled due to hurricane last year. Had to stay an extra night. The staff were able to fix us up with a room so everything worked out just fine. Bally's in the middle of the strip. Doesn't get much better than this.

I have heard the north tower is dated and although I always book the north tower, I generously tip the front desk and they almost always put me in a remodeled room. The remodeled rooms (south tower) are super nice with granite floors in the spacious bathroom and clean spacious rooms.

The restaurant selection isn't great, but the location is fantastic. Bally's has a tunnel (more like a long mall) that connect Ballys to Paris, you can walk right over to the world renowned Burger Brassiere, home of the $777 burger - don't worry the regular burger is under $10 and it has a nice sports bar atmosphere.

If you continue walking through the connection between Ballys and Paris, there is a faboulous place where you can get crepes. Get a breakfast crepe, or if its later in the day, try one of the dessert crepes. and then in front of Paris is Mon Ami Gabi.

Mon Ami Gabi has a patio on the stip that overlooks the Bellagio fountains, and they are the BEST FILET MIGNONS I have ever had. We go to Mon Ami every time we're in Vegas.

The rooms at Paris were suprisingly small (we stayed there last time), so we're going back to our old favoirte Bally's where we can be in the best value hotel rooms on the strip - i really believe that - and be close to all the action!

I love the party pit at Bally's, it's fun. I spent 12 hours there once....:-)

Bally's is now part of the Harrah's family and HAD a very nice Diamond Card Lounge. Unfortunately it closed because of it's close proximity to the Diamond Longe located in Paris (another Harrah's property).



I highly recommend the Sidewalk Cafe for good food, nice service and timely seating. The Cafe gladly accepts Harrah's comps.
