Not worth the drive
This place is off-strip. Way off strip. And it isn't worth the drive.
The place skews old, very old. We actually waited in line at the buffet over twice as long as we did at Bacchanal at Caesars Palace. And the buffet was mediocre at best. Tables had low minimums but the few they had were full. Video poker tables weren't that great.
Great little casino. Very good buffet, Flamingo buffet quality at Sahara buffet prices. Upscale clientele, pleasant surroundings. Round design of casino makes it easier to find companions.
Bogus VIP offers
Received a VIP package on 2 occasions, but was told I couldn't use them because I had recently played. Neither of the packages stated that info in their package. So the moral I guess?. Don't play at the Rampart because if you do they won't back up their VIP packages.
great little place
love this place great comps, great bonus items for players with the players cards. a little small compared to the big guys, but they usally have the newer machines first.
another benefit they will take any coin, pennies, nickles, dimes, etc. great place to get rid of that extra coin weight. one of the best casinos around.
This is the friendliest casino in Vegas!
