We visited the Silverton twiced on our current vacation inorder to take advantage of the happy hour in the lounge/bar of the Twin Creeks Steakhouse. The happy hour runs Tue-Sat from 8-closing and features 1/2 price drinks and tapas. The toasted almond cocktail was like dessert in a glass and only cost $5. Recommended tapas include the dates, trio of bbq prime rib sliders, piquillo peppers and meatballs.

I love coming to the Silverton Casino, there is almost always something going on whether it's a free slot tournament or just free giveaways. the slot attendants and cocktail servers are always very nice and polite. but the best part are the slots when you get tired of the same games at all the other casinos, come to the silverton where they have some slots that are not anywhere else in vegas anymore, for example Big Top, Nerds, Hollywood, Boot Scootin, Buffet Mania, the Three Stooges, Haunted Mansion, King's Gold (i hope i got the names right) and several others that i never see at other casinos. It is off the strip but the best casinos in my opinion are.

I always enjoy going to the Silverton. Casino is spacious, fresh and clean and has a great variety of slots. If you want a break from gambling, you can watch fish swim in their huge tank and even see jelly fish in their own tank. For sports people, there is a Bass Pro shop adjoining the casino and you can shop to your heart's content. We also love their buffet. They have frequent senior specials and the food is very good. It's off the strip, but parking is good and the desert landscaping is beautiful. We've also stayed at their hotel and were very pleased with the accommodations and service..

We went to Silverton for the first time in years to try their buffet. It was excellent. While there we played some slots and they were fun and the casino was clean. But the best part was their poker room. There was one seat open so I jumped on the opportunity and played several hours. The staff was very nice, the players were mostly local and very friendly, it was really quite fun. For those who are outdoors types, Bass Pro is affiliated with Silverton so they have a full Bass Pro shop there. I am from the city where Bass Pro's headquarters are located so I was aware of their presence before I went there. I am not a big hunter type but for those who are hunters or fishermen, it's a big bonus.

We really liked Silverton and will go back.

I stumbled across this jewel while in town on a business trip (yes, a business trip). I love it here. I am saying that even though I haven't walked away with my pockets full. The rooms are wonderful and really give off a cabi/lodge like atmosphere. There's a variety of slots to choose from and the tables always have polite staff.
There are several places to eat and dine on the floor of the casino - no 10 mile hike to try and find the buffet line. It is almost like a fancy food court.
And one thing that sticks in my mind is that there's always a players club promo going on that entails turning in your points of the day for a random item that you would see advertised at 2am on tv. A shammy wow, a non stick pan, a car handwarmer...
Want to take a break from the action? Hang out at the floor to ceiling fish tank... time it so that you can see the mermaids and divers feeding or cleaning the tank.
Had enough of fish? Stroll into the full sized footprint of a Bass Pro Shop. I think that is the funniest thing! Out of clothes and ammo? Stop right in!

On our recent nine night vacation in Las Vegas we stayed at the Silverton Casino for five nights. We started the trip with a two night stay under my wife's name and ended it five days later with a three night stay under my name. Since we had never stayed here before we were happy when the free room offers arrived in the mail. They were running a promotion in November for free food for slot play. We played so much each day that we ended up getting two $40 dining credits, two $20 dining credits and three $10 dining credits (or free regular buffets). When we finally got home there were more free room offers in our mail for January - March 2012 so it looks like we will be returning here next year.

My niece worked at the Silverton until this year. When I visited her, I would gamble at the casino and would usually win. The sportsmans shop was always an attraction with their stuffed wild animals.

The Silverton is a nice casino with a lot good machines. However, be aware that not only is the buffet pricey, there are also some nights to just avoid it, specifically the Hawaiian Luau night. I made the mistake of paying full price and found the food less than decent. The pig was overcooked and everything else was 2nd rate. I did have my buy one get one free coupon but since I was alone, they wouldn't give me 1/2 price (the logical and accepted norm). Instead they sent me to the players club where I found 100 people in line trying to redeem a free play for locals coupon. I gave up and paid the full price. The cookies were good!

We always play at the Silverton Casino when we visit Las Vegas. And don't miss seeing the huge aquarium located near the Pro Bass Shop which is connected to the casino.

This casino is clean, well lit, not very smokey. It's got excellent service, and the restaurants are very good. Yes, the buffet is pricey, but they usually are running some sort of promotion. Nice selection of VP.

Silverton Casino has always been one of our Las Vegas favorites. We always play and eat there during our Las Vegas trips. The buffet is nice but expensive (be sure to use a 2 for 1 coupon).

when it comes to comps and best value of a players club Silverton is right on the top of them all. I used to play at the station casinos, the orleans, coast properties, palms and many others. but i rarely received any mailers for free rooms or free dining and i have been gambling there for years.

I gambled twice at the silverton and they treat me like a king. free rooms, free food and? free drinks. this is the best casino for the little guy who does not pour the money into the slot machines and who wants to be treated like a king.

I love this casino and i will love it even more when they open up the other side in 2 months and they expect to have a few hundred more slot machines to play.

Highly recommend this hotel and casino. We have stayed here several times - the rooms are clean and service is very good.



The casino has a nice selection of slot machines. If you go in the summer - take a jacket they keep it cold at night!

The people are very warm and the hotel is very nice. food:excellent.



Casino is just the righr size not real big and not small. My wife and I have been staying there and playing there for the last 3-4 years,some times twice a year
