Atlantic club, worth the walk

The atlantic club is a bit of a walk from center boardwalk, but it's worth it. The slots are new they have some decent and full pay video poker, but no poker room. It's small, but clean. The buffet and cafes are all pretty good. You can stop by the Tropicana next door on the trip.

Love the $5 BJ!

This is our new favorite casino in AC. We return often for $5 blackjack during the week and early morning, and it's usually busy. Come back later to get a seat if packed. Locals know about the place. I believe the dealers are always hand shuffling the deck, and dealers remember you when they rotate back. Players card earns good room and food comps, and the front desk is very service-oriented and generous. Small place with plenty of slots on perimeter. Poker tourneys as well. Rooms are very nice.
Only caveat is the ground-level bar does not comp drinks, but you can watch sports on TV and play quarter video games.

Customer service

The woman answering questions on the phone (Sun. 7-22-2012 @9:45AM) should go to a class on attitude problems in customer service; therefore my last trip to the Alantic Club was my last trip to the Atlantic Club!!!

Great Place

This place has the newest slot machines of any other Atlantic City casino and it was the cleanest also. The food is the most reasonably priced and tastes good too. The buffet at $16 was twice as good as any other at half the price. Very elegant atmosphere with a large selection of machines.

Atlantic Club

It's been a few years since we've visited this property. New management has done a nice job on the transformation. The aisles are wider, the place is clean, staff is friendly. There's no parking fee. I think it's much improved from the Hilton Days. They are aiming at the ordinary player whose not a high roller. Their motto , "A casino for the rest of us" fits. I think they will gain market share and retain players. SLot club is uncomplicated and straight forward. I hope their strategy works.

ACH's biggest problem is location

This place is usually dead. The reason it's at the southernmost casino on the Boardwalk and a number of blocks from the center of the action. If Hard Rock opens its casino a bit further down, it will definitely help ACH.

I'm pretty sure they have a rule that you have to be at least 55 years old to deal here. And many of the dealers aren't very friendly. They used to have a couple of video poker games here that I liked, but I can't find them here anymore. There is no excitement whatsoever. And the players club doesn't have its own desk. You sign up for your card at the cashier cage. So don't need to cash in chips when a bus pulls in, since everyone on the bus is in line for their cards and free play. With so many better casinos in Atlantic City, try any of the others.

H17 strikes again.... AC Hilton 02.16.09

Hey Now!

Yepper, it's true, they're hitting a soft 17 here on the low stakes games.. Every once in awhile you can find a $10 S17 game..but most aren't.

And they're not serving bottled beer in the pit...it's in an 8 oz. glass....

At least they're pretty generous with the comps..

Easy to get Sun-Thur room offers.

VP pretty much sucks.

I don't gamble here

I visit this casino each year on my annual visit to Atantic City.

Many years ago, it used to be the old Golden Nugget which Steve Wynn sold and then used the proceeds to build The Mirage in Las Vegas.

It usually seems busy, so I guess people like the place. However, I like to play video poker and they don't have any machines with good paytables.

I assume that if they have bad video poker paytables the slot machines would be just as tight.

Ok

I can't really say anything bad about this place, the downfall of Hilton is that it is away from all the other casinos.

They do have a good selection of games and tables.
