Firelake Grand

An above average casino with lots of monthly promotions and events. I can't think of any particular slot machines they don't have. The buffet is okay and they often give you coupons that reduce the price by 5 dollars. They have no ante on table games Monday through Thursday and have one table with 2 dollar minimum blackjacks. But it's hard to get a seat there most of the time.

BEST casino in OKC area

My husband and I have been here 6 times in the last 6 months. We used to go to riverwind for a fun night out to gamble and get away from the kids for awhile, but we have switched to Firelake Grand. The casino is the largest one around and the atmosphere is great, plenty of room and not too smokey. Employees are friendly enough. I had a slot machine tilt on me and it took about 10 minutes for a lady to come fix it; she was very apologetic and comped me $10 free play. Large selection of slots and i have actually been able to play on them for longer than 15 minutes, unlike most other casinos in OK. I don't mind losing if I can play for awhile. Actually played on a quarter machine for 3 hrs with $40. We don't spend our house payment gambling, we each take $100 and 5 out of the 6 times we've gone we have come out ahead or close to even. We don't just play the slots though, we play everything!!! Poker room is nice. . .standard. . .the guys always underestimate us girls ha! ha! Table games include craps and roulette, which are hard to come by in Oklahoma. There are the dreaded 50-cent antes, but Firelake has been having NO ANTES every other month. First time we went there were antes, Dec no antes, Jan antes, Feb none, etc. April is coming up and no antes again so we will definitely be going back. Buffet is just okay, but you get coupons for having a player's card. My husband prefers the sport's grill. You have to pay for drinks just like all casinos around here but they are good and there are usually beer specials. ($1 house in april) Free self-serve pop. We have been to most of the casinos in the OKC area and even though some are closer to us (we live in Moore) we will make the extra drive to Firelake Grand. Hope this is helpful and GOOD LUCK!!!!!

WORST place to go now, tight as a drum on their sl

FOOD IS DRY and old in buffet since they stopped letting people use the player's card for a discount. No one much eats there though they send out a few discount tickets. Not enough to keep the food turned over quick enough. Same old menu week after week, gets really old, dry, tasteless. The slots are a buzzing but nothing really happens for very many people, only one or two once in awhile. Everyone else loses everything they have, machines are dead. They get new machines and expect the people to pay for them dearly. I HATE the new machines, especially the ones at the Ft Knox that use to play when nothing else did. NOW NOTHING plays. No jackpot in THREE years and before I could win them but not now

Changed for the worse

The Grand used to be the only casino in the state I would reccommend to people, but now I don't really know of any I would advise to hit on a trip here. Grand has recently had a change in leadership and they have taken a turn for the worse in regards to pay outs on the slots, many regulars have commented to me about this and I am seeing it very much the last couple of months. While it used to be that you could get at least minimal hits on machines, now the norm has become zeros in the win column, not even down side wins are common anymore. The average used to be 1 in 6.8 machines were a good bet to get at least enough to keep you playing, the last month of play for me has been 1 in 11.3 machines and as I stated it is not just myself but every regular I talked to lately has said the same. Bad enough that two whales by Oklahoma standards have quit coming in according to a couple of the employees I talked to. The food as always is still very good and you will be hard pressed to find a better value than the Grandstand sports bar for both drinks and food, the Poker room is still the second best in the state and the table games are what they are with the addition of some two dollar Blackjack tables in the Party Pit. But if you are looking for a place to play slots, just say no. A heads up to the new manager you will continue to see the handle drop if ya keep doing business this way, the tour buses are not enough to keep you running when the locals close ya out and your business model is hurting your bar and restaurant employees.

Nice Casino

Very nice. Upscale. Roulette wheel is not as random as a Vegas wheel. No Oklahoma ante (.50¢) during even number months; Monday-Thursday between 6pm and midnight. Always having great unannounced promotions on table games. Players card holders get $20 match-play coupons for slots and table games and meal coupons. Best value food is Sports Bar or play a few times and get complimentary food and drinks in the very expensive steakhouse.

Close drive, Pretty building, Tight Slots.

If you live close by and wanna go out for a drink and maybe a game or two then this is the place for you, But lately the slots have been really tight, i have heard this from many friends at work who go there. So its not just me. So if your looking to hit it big while your here in Okc i suggest you pass this casino up.

Age allowed to Play higher than others close by?

I really liked this Casino due to the offer of Craps and Roulette and other table games not found in other Casinos I've visited in Oklahoma. Although, they are slightly different versions than what you would find in Vegas they are still fun.

The slots are tight her too as they are in most of the Indian Casinos. It's funny that all of the Casinos around Oklahoma City allow 18 and up, but here you must be 21. Don't know what that's all about. I wish they would change it so my 20 year old daughter could go with me. It's the best around.
