Too Much Smoke
If there was a way that I could give this casino a lower score I would do it in a heartbeat!
We had heard they had may new improved renovations so this afternoon we checked it out. I stayed for 10 mins. tops because I nearly gagged on the cigarette smoke 'fog'.
Owners, Managers ... I understand smoking is allowed, but why not set aside an area for those players that do not partake in tobacco?
Offer air filter mask at no cost to potential gamers , Place them with an attendant in the lobby to pass out.
Players if you go to this casino, take asthma meds, mask to keep out the second hand smoke and a bottle of Fabreez, and maybe eye goggles to keep out the smoke.
We will NEVER go there again. Place is very seedy.
car vandalized
Play at your own risk went to Remington during the weekday during noon hours, my car was vandalized. they stole the catalytic converter, and casino did nothing about it. The cameras they have in parking are not monitored, and when i called to make a police report The officer said tell Remington to get their act together. apparently there are a lot of cars being broken into.
Skip the Slots!
U don't go to Remington Park to play the slots and they still don't have table games, u go for the Friday and Sat night bands that bring out the party peeps! Also go for the excitement of thoroughbred and quarter horse racing, that's the reason to make a visit and you should have a really good time.
Not Recommended For Slot Play
I loved Remington Park once upon a time.....but as noted in another post here, things changed drastically after the Chickasaws took it over. I've been out there 4 times since the new ownership and I took a good hickey every time. I couldn't win a thing, no matter what amount or machine I bet on. It is one of the closest casinos to my home, but I prefer to drive an extra 20 or 30 miles to casinos I can win something at! This tribe is one of the greediest there is.
Saturday
We took a party of seven for a birthday. We had all been there many times, but had never had lunch or dinner. We had lunch at Remi's. My check of the site showed the restaurant opened at 11 AM. The restaurant opened at noon. The price on the internet
indicated the price for the buffet was $12.99, actually it was $14.99. The buffet was disappointing as the hot items were mediocre. The prime rib looked great, was well cooked, but had no flavor.
Next time we will go to Riverwind. Henry Hudson,s is no big deal..
I LOVE REMINGTON!!!!
highly recommended, great slots, great odds
Total change since Chickasaw's took over - Alot LE
Used to win all the time out here on video poker. Now it is so tight I rarely hit at all. I'm not talking royals. I mean four of a kinds have virtually disappeared. I am a frequent player and I do blame it on the take over by the Chickasaw's.
Not just chance that they stopped paying. i know my play and returns. These machines were tightened up no doubt. I've talked to other very regular players who notice the exact some thing. Can't be coincidence.
remington park casino
Slots are tight, not many jackpots paid out !!!
Food is good, good deals on player's club card. The points add up for free meals a lot better than a lot of casinos.
People are friendly, small casino gets crowded. Needs to upgrade slot machines!
