My wife and I recently visited this casino, only to be sorely disappointed. For starters, the slot machines were not only in deplorable condition with broken, missing keys, they were as tight as a drum. None were paying out. Even during bonus rounds. Second, we asked for drinks on the floor, where we would place an order with the waitress and the waitress would never come back with our drinks. Also, the restaurant Foodies was by far the worst. The food we ordered was sorely undercooked and raw. We were forced to wait in extremely long lines for crappy food and service. Smoking in this casino was out of hand, where several people were smoking even in non smoking areas. Those people in red suits whose job is to get these smokers off the floor did absolutely nothing. My wife and I have both complained to Parx management. It's now been 4 weeks and they have yet to contact us. My recommendation to all of you thinking about visiting Parx is to not bother wasting your time, gas, money and patience. You will have a much better time at some of the other local casinos in the area like Sands, Mt Airy, Sugarhouse, Harrah's, or even Atlantic City. So please do yourself a big favor. Stay as far away from Parx as you can. You'll be so glad you did...

On October 30, 2011 I was playing on various slot machines at Parx. I won $199.85 at one machine and inserted the voucher I was issued into a different slot machine. The machine only registered the 85 cents and not the $199. The machine then malfunctioned and the slot attendant came to fix the wheels that were spinning endlessly. I reported the loss at the machine and filed a dispute form. The casino conducted an "investigation" and informed me today that the system did not report an overage so therefore I had no claim. Plain and simple this is a RIP-OFF and I have no recourse to collect the money that this casino stole from me. My advice to anyone who is issued a voucher at PARX is to immediately cash it at a payout machine rather than simply inserting your voucher into a different slot machine. I'm sure I'm not the only one to experience this scam and I can just imagine how much money this casino is making through this shady practice. Needless to say they have lost two regular patrons for life (my wife and myself) and they will lose thousands in lost revenue by not paying out on this legitimate claim. Talk about winning the battle and losing the war! Ridiculous situation! Please BEWARE!

This place is the worst. I've never gotten anything comped here. Slot machine wouldn't give me my ticket and I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to fix it. Never enough tables open. Try getting a drink. Good luck.

The only reason to come here is for Chickie and Pete's. Otherwise head elsewhere.

Parx Casino, is by far the most classless place on earth. It is also the toughest casino to ever win from. And where the atmosphere is supposed to make you feel like a winner, you always feel like a loser when you leave. Their comps are absolutely abysmal. Their promotions as well. The slot machines are as tight as can be. They are also in deplorable condition. Also, their rest rooms are far apart from each other. Their redemption machines and ATM's hardly ever work. Their food is tasteless....... They have nothing going for it at all, with the exception of its nice facade. Parx management is bad when it comes to not listening to their patrons. Perhaps Parx management should take lessons from places like Sands in Bethlehem, PA. ...where they have class.....where, unlike Parx, management takes the time to address any patron concerns and rewards them. They also fix any issues immediately with broken down slot machines, etc, ... That is the way a casino should be managed........... BTW, do yurself a favor, don't fall for their fancy commercials-....they are absolute lies......Like Vegas? .c'mon now Believe someone who was just in Vegas not too long ago, they are nowhere near Vegas caliber!

My parents and i went there tonight, jul 31,2011. We live like 15 minutes away, we wanted to see the place as we never been there since it was built. The self parking wasn't too bad, it's free, no complaints here . It's always crowded. As soon as i arrived at the door ( i'm 29 ) i got carded ( ̄へ ̄) , I'm not going to bother mentioning about gambling, you win some you lose some. There are a ton of slot machines, the majority of them are 1c,2c,5c's. As for the table games, the min. bets were a little big for a beginner like me it was a $25 min. on all of the tables. The food is horrible, you can probably drive out to the local restaurants to find something about the same or less price with better quality. The club 360, it was packed, we didn't bother to go in, looks like there's a cover charge to get in. The customer service was substandard. I see a lot of cleaning crews running around, there were nice looking female waitresses, but there were also male waiters for drinks what is up with the male waiters? I was at the craps table, and there was zero service for drinks, we saw many waiters/waitresses walk back and forth, with us and the table dealers calling them over. We were ignored. This went on every 15~30 mins for 3 hours, still no service. You could fetch your own drinks at the center bar but you would need to pay for those. After a hour inside the complex, the smoking was getting to me, there was no smog, but the stench of cigars and cigarettes was really heavy to the point it was unbearable. I also noticed there were a lot of loud and rude players flocking around starting trouble.

I live close to Parx and go at least once a week. I like the slots and tried the penny, nickel, quarter, dollar and five dollar machines. None pay off - I played over $1,000 and not one payoff. I got a $5.00 food credit (JOKE) and small comps for machines. AC pays much better, two buffet dinners, large amounts of credit for machines.

I think I will go to AC from no on.

After playing here for many years it seems the machines just get harder to hit. Parx Casino has nothing to offer other than their gimmicks to get people in to play. With one winner every 15 minutes and approximately 3500 slot machines your odds of winning are minimal. You would be better off playing the lottery. Their food and beverage comps are an absolute joke! What other casino only offers $5.00 for an entire month. Even in their details they are misrepresenting themselves. Parking is $15.00 to $20.00, not $5.00 as stated. They are an arrogant casino who thinks that they can insult the intelligence of their players with machines that have little or no payback, lousy e-play offers and gimmicks to entice people to stay and play until they have lost their last dollar. Unfortunately, as long as they are packing them in, their practices won't change. For me personally I have changed casinos and have found that my luck wasn't as bad as i thought it was. It was were i was playing that was unlucky.

We visited PARX casino recently. It was pretty busy on a weekend and the staff were having a hard time keeping up with cleanliness. They were trying though. Some machines had keys that did not work or were stuck. Some people can't read the no smoking symbol on the front of the machines. The security people did enforce the smoking areas. Did see one slot machine with broken glass. I guess not a happy camper. My sister and I thought the selection of slots was pretty good. They need more Vegas Spins and Wizard of Oz Machines. The bar top video poker machines don't seem to be the same as they were in the racetrack. They seem much tighter. Some players mentioned that fact. We did win a little as we played about three hours. Don't expect any comps as the Penna. Tax on comps seems prohibitive. It seems you have to run about $ 200.00 through a machine to earn one point. Could not find any materials that explained the point system.

My visit made me so disgusted. Obviously, with a nice building, it is managed with absolutely no class at all. The slot machines have always been tight. The comps awarded are an absolute joke. You could end up spending your entire bank roll and they would laugh all the way to the bank. These people have yet to put in good working slot machines. I actually saw one machine with broken glass exposed, endangering the public. . In addition, many have non working keys and reels. You play every line and don't get a single payout. They constantly go to Closure M or Closure BM mode while playing. And the biggest point I wanted to make, absolutely no one is on the floor to assist you. Parx Casino is by far the worst casino I have ever visited. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the title explains it all. Slots at Parx are not only in deplorable condition, they are incredibly tight. Since this hell hole opened its doors, I have not seen 1 jackpot won. Every time I visit this place, I come out on the losing end. Their contests and promotions are an absolute joke. I never win anything. It's only a ploy to get you in there and rob you of more of your hard earned money. The people that run this place ought to be ashamed of themselves. They are taking in so much money, yet, none of it, seems like it's being returned, as it should be. It's robbery at its worst.

Been going to Parx since it opened. It is about a half hour from my house. When I go, I take what I can afford to lose. Was a member of the players club and still only get $5 back and no food comp! So, after about 8 weeks of dropping $200-400 per week and I was still only getting $5, I finally asked to speak to someone. I asked how they determine the rewards. He couldn't answer. At least in AC they will tell you for every so many dollars you gamble it equals a point. It is fair and you can figure it out. All I could get them to tell me was that it was like baseball, the more often you are up at bat the lower your average is. WHAT? So finally after arguing, he said the reward payback is determined by the machines you play, length of time on machine, etc. Too subjective for me! I made him look up my play and he did give me $50 that night to play. I have been so disgusted by their reward system that I rarely, if ever, use my card.

I read the other comments, yeah it is smoky. I have no idea why the new casino doesn't have a better HVAC system. Some people are rude, but that is the nature of people, not the casino. It is my choice to go there, all that I ask is that I understand how they are grading my play and how I earn comps. Unfortunately, I have won more money (not big jackpots) when not using my card, so that is another reason not to use it.

Parx is getting rich, I would just like to see more than $5 once a week for my play. And valet at less than $15! Good luck players!

I went last night with my Mom, though I didn't win my Mom sure did. She spent $70.00 of her own money and walked out with over $2,000.00. I wish I could say the same for myself but I'm so happy for my Mom. But we sure did get thirsty and waiting for someone to come around to get a cup of coffee was almost non-existent. And waiting for someone to come to pay my Mom was also a long long wait, but well worth it for my Mom LOL

This place is a terrible disappointment. It looks like they put a lot of money into it, but they just take peoples money and treat them like crap. The crowd is kind of creepy and the service is almost non existent. The worst part is that it is seemingly impossible to win anything. I have never played machines that are so tight. You can put $100 into a dollar slot and hit nothing more than 2 or 5 credits once or twice. The penny machines are almost as bad. Play 60 credits, maybe win 20 credits back every 5 spins. It's boring, insulting and extremely frustrating to play here. We will never go back. We tell everyone we know how bad that place is. The management couldn't be more thrilled that they are raking in incredible profits while devastating their community. I can picture them laughing at all the stupid patrons who fork over their money to them.

Let me say that I had the distinct displeasure of going to Parx Casino this weekend, and every other weekend preceding that. And each time I go, I am more disgusted and feel more of a loser rather than a winner.

Not only is the parking lot a disgrace, with trash littering it, many of the patrons who attend are vile and rude. I even saw a woman vomit into a trash can. where not one of those people in red suits assisted her. I also saw a woman so drunk she relieved herself right on the casino floor in front of everyone. Again, the people in red suits did nothing.

Another thing are the poor condition of the slot machines. Many of them are so broken, you can't maneuver the keys, or the reels delay their spin. Also, these machines are extremely tight, where bonus rounds pay very little or nothing at all, Even on max bets.

Another area are the comps rewarded and promotions. They both royally suck, compared to other casinos in the area. For example, today was a promotion where you were promised to receive 4X slot play by inserting your card in the machine. Well, that never happened. On many occasions, you are invited to enter a promotion, but are never ever rewarded.

When management is approached with a problem, they walk away, rather than address it. They could not care less about their patrons. They only care about making money. On numerous occasions, people who go to this casino either chain smoke in your face, or put their legs on an empty seat to save a non-used machine, Again, these people in red suits do absolutely nothing about it, which is very unfair. Especially, if someone like myself wants to use a machine.

Not only is the weekend DJ awful, getting served a drink is almost non existent. When you call one of the girls over, they either take your order and never come back with your drink, or they walk away from you completely and ignore you.
To me, that's poor customer service. I really hope people really wake up and boycott this foresaken place, or the Casino Commission gets on Parx to either shape up, or close them down.

I don't know about you, but I vote for the latter.

After reading all the reviews about Parx it appears that alot of problem gamblers like to play here. You complain when you put in a $20 and aren't rewarded with a jackpot. The funny thing is some people who complain say they keep coming back even after they report the machines are tight! That isn't a problem? Blame the casino, blame someone else because you keep losing... It's always someone else's fault... the machines, the management, the cocktail waitresses.... grow up

The new 3 Card Poker Pair Plus payoff is a rip off. The house advantage is 7.3% instead of 2.3%! THAT SUCKS! (reason is that it pays 40-30-6-3-1 ... payoff everywhere else is 40-30-6-4-1).

Greedy Parx, we'll keep going to AC - who needs you?

Thanks, Pennsylvania politicians, for allowing your casinos to rip off us PA citizens. You could have matched NJ's payoffs and still raised big revenue. Slowly but surely, more and more PA citizens will realize that you allowed these PA casinos to take advantage of us.

I am used to playing at Parx casino since long ago and have never ever come out winning anything....the machines are so tight...last week I lost $400 in like less than 2 hours on penny slots and I was stunned...because no bonus games...no cashmans...horrible ...cant $400 do more than pass 4-5 hours?...never won anything back..so just kept on losing money in the slots....does the management ever think about letting people have some fun and earn wins sometimes?..I have tried all timings 4am,6am,10am,2pm,4pm,6pm-12 midnight.....amazing they never let u win.....no bonuses that one can talk about...frustrating to keep on losing.....better find another casino...I am done with this one. Do the casino control people verify the machines? I highly doubt that...can't see anyone win anytime...been a long long time now...I believe the casino commission should sincerely check the slots here....so tight that $400 is not good enough to survive for 2 hrs on penny machines..

Well what can I say. Ever since this hell hole opened its doors, it's been nothing but sheer misery for my wife and for myself. From the incredibly tight slots every single day of the week to the obnoxious patrons, from the incredibly horrible DJ to the equally horrendous customer service and to the worst promotions and comp payouts in history of any casino in the area, this is buy far the worst of the worst of casinos.

Parx has been a huge disappointment all around, where it continues to make people like us broke and overly frustrated. A casino is supposed to help one relax after a long hard day or week at the office. This place however breeds much more stress and does absolutely nothing to make one feel relaxed.

It would be really nice to once in a while walk away with a win or 2, But my wife and I always come out hundreds of dollars in the hole, and the worst part about it, we only receive a lousy $5 per week comp for our troubles.

Parx management ought to wake the hell up and make the changes it needs to make this place more enjoyable, more competetive to casinos like Sands in Bethlehem or Harrah's Chester. At least they take the time ..go out of their way to talk to their patrons and assist them in any way they can. Parx management needs to listen to their patrons more and not always listen to their deep, stingy pockets.

Another problem is the smoking and non-smoking areas. People sit and play the slots and blow harmful cigarette smoke in your face, even in non-smoking areas without ash trays where those idiots in red suits just walk by and do absolutely nothing to stop them. The only consolation is that the building is very attractive and the bands are half decent. Fire the DJ. She is absolutely horrendous!!!!!

Although the new Parx Casino building is nice to look at, inside is a totally different story. If it were not for the incredibly tight, broken down slots, lousy customer service, arrogant management, horrible food , cheap comp rewards, horrendous promotions, disorganized smoking areas, horrific DJ and overall disgusting patrons, it would be a pretty decent place to go unwind and relax. But, unfortunately, every time we go to this facility, we come out of there broke and completely stressed out. The worst part of it is that Parx management does not care less for their patrons . where they will not ever address our concerns or accommodate us in any way. Where other casinos have gone out of their way to accommodate us. All they are interested in is making money off of us and not treating us with respect.

I've been reading alot of reviews on Parx casino, and I seriously don't know what everyone is complaining about, maybe because I didn't play any of the slots but I played the electronic blackjack table and I had a great time and won great money.

Within my time there the drink girls were right there offering drinks and I didn't even notice the smell of the smoke, but people you have to realize you are going to a smoking casino what else did you expect really? Maybe next time go to a non-smoking casino! I went over Memorial Day weekend so yeah I'll admit parking sucked and it was packed but overall it was a great experience and the band that was playing at the 360 was great!!

I look forward to alot of the changes that will be coming with Parx casino including live table games next month! So all the haters of Parx maybe you should either give it another chance or go back to AC where you have ghetto casinos, unfriendly dealers, and even greedier people!!

tightest slots ever. i live right around the corner and go rather frequently. this place just sucks you dry. i really don't expect to walk out a winner......but a little payback once in a while would be cool......i have gone though 100 bucks in 5 minutes on more than one occasion with no payback at all!!!!!....which is my own stupidity for going back time after time. it's the convenience factor.....but i think it's time to go back to good ole atlantic city.................at least you can play all day on your money.......and even win once in a while. never ever won at parx. oh, and the smoke factor is horrible as well!!!! you stink so bad when you leave .

Visited here several times thinking that the new casino building would be better. No way. Slots are incredibly tight, the arrangement unimaginative and getting a drink takes chasing someone down. Don't bother.

We live about 2 hours away and have been going to Atlantic City for many years and wanted to visit Parx Casino. We were smart enough to go online and read the horrible reviews, but dumb enough to go anyhow.

So, last night (Saturday) we took the trip. It was easy enough to find, but parking was another issue. The place was mobbed and we had to park a far distance away (actually the adjacent Racetrack lot) and walk a long distance. Inside was packed, with open machines hard to find. It was late and people were just starting to leave, so we killed some time by walking around the casino and seeing what was there.

My wife and I finally located some familiar machines and began playing. Within 15 minutes, both of us had lost half of our money without getting any decent hits. We both moved on to other machines. Unfortunately, these slots seemed equally as tight, only giving an occasional few credit wins. A short while later we had gone through $600 and hit nothing! It was very boring and frustrating to have those machine just steal your money and not give anything back. We had been going to AC for over 20 years and never experienced machines as tight as those at Parx Casino.

As for the wait staff, no one ever came to offer us beverages until we were about to leave.

Do NOT go to this place to gamble - they are robbers in disguise. In fact, they should round up the owners and the management and send them all off to prison with Bernie Madoff.

We will never return to this place.

I've spent thousands of dollars there since the place opened, I can honestly say that ONLY ONCE did I ever walk out a winner.. And if you think that a lousy $2,950 is a good return for thousands spent? Then this is the place for you!... And what do i get in return for dropping all this cash there ???? A lousy $3 a week in free play !! Stay home !!!! The odds are stacked way in their favor!! A COMPLETE WASTE OF HARD EARNED CASH !!!!! I've learned my lesson,, never again will I set foot in there.... Don't believe me ??? Take a stop watch with you and see how long it takes to lose $100

Stay Home !!!!!!

It's a no win situation here,,, and if they say that they don't rig these machines to not pay out they are full of it !! I've been going since this place opened and spent a decent amount of cash here and got nothing in return " 0 " you have to be in the right place at the right time to win here.... spend the extra cash in gas and head to AC.... very, very, very disappointed !!!!!

Parx Casino is located off Street Road in Bensalem (NE Phila). Be warned that the area is congested with cars and if you should hit rush hour traffic, you are screwed. To make matters worse, the drivers in the area act like maniacs.

There is no parking garage. All the parking is outside and you must walk pretty far to get inside. Not a bad hike on a nice day, but miserable in bad weather.

Inside, the newly-built slot facility looks inviting with the attractive slots, flashing lights and chandeliers. But that's where the fun stops. On most of our trips, the place has been very crowded (even on weekdays) and it is sometimes difficult to find a machine you are willing to play. The crowd, being located in Phila., is a bit rough. I would recommend that you set the alarm on your car, watch your belongings very closely and be alert at all times.

The games themselves are the biggest disappointment. For those of us accustomed to playing, you realize you will lose sometimes, break even other times, but will also win sometimes. But in this place, your only option is to lose and lose it fast. The machines are so noticeably tight. You can spend hundreds of dollars and never once get a decent payout. This takes all the fun out of the games. To prove this, just take a casual walk across the entire floor. I can almost guarantee that you will not see one jackpot payout. I can't understand how they are able to get away with robbing the patrons and it also amazes me that people keep going back to that place after being swindled so badly.

I really wasn't bothered by any smoke as some of the reviewers complained. Once in a while you would catch a wave of smoke but the place seems ventilated enough to not be a problem. Those that complain about breathing the smoke are probably the same idiots that go out and jump in their 3,000 pounds of steel and drive like they are on a suicide mission.

The restaurants don't make up for the losses at the machines. There are only 2 places to eat. A greasy food court and an upscale steak house. We have eaten in both. The food court offers basics like soda, hot dogs and other sandwiches for a reasonable price and the lines are usually long and move slowly. The steak house is their expensive eatery. They seem to take care of you well and are very accommodating. We got off to a bad start when the rolls and butter were brought to us. The butter was bad. It tasted like it had sat out for a few days at room temperature. I loved their salad and appetizers. Their main course was decent, but it was nothing to brag about. I get the feeling this place is hit or miss so I don't think we'll be returning.

All in all, we left with a very empty feeling and felt like suckers who were taken for a ride and ripped off. Going to Parx Casino makes you feel like a loser.

OK, I can talk about the ambiance, the service, the cleanliness and on and on, but when it gets down to it, the only thing I really care about is having a good time spending my hard earned money with some hope of winning once in a while. Well, this place fails miserably at that.

The machines are so tight and stingy that it takes all the fun out of playing. I think I would more enjoy pouring gasoline on my dollars, setting them on fire and watching them burn.

Governor Rendell screwed up big by letting the casinos have such a low minimum payback. The State and the Casino owners are raking in the cash while all the stupid patrons are getting their wallets emptied out. I hate this place and all the PA casinos. I hope you choke on your obscene profits.
