The music is top-notch and sounds like something out of a classic thriller movie. When you trigger the lightning re-spins, you’ll also hear thunder that accompanies it. Finally, the game is also fully playable on mobile.

Lightning Horseman has a great atmosphere
The visuals and the sound are some of the better aspects of the slot. Lightning Box did a great job overall with crafting everything. However, with that said, it still looks like an older, dated slot. It doesn’t have a modern look like some of the newer games that have come out.

When it comes to Lightning Horseman, we have somewhat mixed feelings. On the plus side, the theme is an interesting one, and the music and visuals both come together nicely. We’re not sure if we were just extremely lucky, but we managed to trigger the lightning respins several times.
Overall though, the slot does feel dated, like something you would see pre-2015. The RTP is also below average. Typically RTP is lower for slots with progressive jackpots; however, in Lightning Horseman, it’s fixed. Despite some drawbacks, we can still recommend this game and give it a final score of 75/100.
