How I tested White Rabbit
The best way to review a game, in my opinion, is to play it first. It’s the only way to experience the intricacies and atmosphere of the game. So that’s exactly what I did.
Find the game
I searched for White Rabbit online and found that it features an abundance of online casinos and review sites on free play mode, but more about that later. I settled on one site, at random, not by preference.
As I was only testing the game, I opted for the demo version. The demo or free-play version is the same as the real betting one, so an accurate assessment could be made from using it. To play real money, you would have to sign in to the casino you choose.
With a betting range from 10 cents to $20, I settled on $5 to try the game.
Select manual or autoplay.
The spin button is set to single spins by default. To engage auto spin, first select your number of spins, loss limit, and win limit. Once any of those criteria are reached, the auto spin will cancel, and you will have to restart it. You can stop a spin in autoplay by using the bet button, but be warned, you’ll need to set up autoplay all over again after each time you manually stop the game.
Play White Rabbit with the best bonus
Finding out which online casinos feature White rabbit slots using an internet search was not as easy as I had hoped. Most results will send you to free play demo modes or reviews. I identified these online venues, however.
BetMGM offers new players a $25 no deposit bonus with a 1x wagering requirement. You can also opt-in to a 100% match bonus of up to $1,000. These bonus funds will come with a 15x wagering requirement.
White Rabbit Symbols & Payouts
The number of scoring symbols in White Rabbit is impressive. Let’s take a look at what each symbol pays and when.
There are ten different symbols in normal pay, with varying values. At the bottom of the values are the 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A symbols with their connected characters like the Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat. The symbols that are worth the most are the gems and, ultimately, the Red Queen.
All lines pay from the left, with three or more of a symbol on a payline.
All pays are a minimum of three like symbols, starting from the left reel. All the symbols in the above tables may be substituted by the wild card, which is randomly brought into play.
Min/Max Bet, Autoplay Option?
The minimum bet is $0.10, with the maximum bet set at $20. An autoplay function is available. To set autoplay, you will need to select the number of spins, loss limit, and win limit. Once any of these settings are reached, the autoplay will cancel.
The return to player (RTP) average for this game is 97.24% in normal play. In a bought feature drop, the RTP can increase to 97.77%. RTP is the percentage of the total bet you are likely to win back on a particular game. In other words, for every $100 you bet, in theory, you should get $97.24 back on this game. It must be understood that this is an average, but high RTP’s like this do suggest that this game does produce a reasonable amount of winners.
I found the volatility of this game in normal mode to be fairly high. It does improve dramatically in free-spin mode, whether your free spins are bought or earned.
I found the hit frequency to be fairly low in normal mode, although multipliers are awarded frequently. Wild cards also make regular appearances. You would need to be betting in the upper range of the scale to gain any worthwhile results in normal play. I opted for the lower bet in the hope that features would soon make themselves seen. The amount of your bet, incidentally, has no bearing on the likelihood of features appearing.
Jackpot and/or maximum win
Being a stand-alone slot, there is no jackpot in this game. The minimum win is 0.1 of your bet on any of the Q, J, 10, or 9 symbols, reading from left with a minimum of three on any payline.
There are special symbols too as the Wild symbols will substitute for any normal symbol on a payline. The most important symbol is certainly the White Rabbit. Three of those, anywhere, will take you into 15 free spins, which is the game’s real drawcard. The game really comes to life once you have activated these features.
Wilds, re-spins, and other features
These are the features that bring out White Rabbit’s true colors.
The wild symbols may appear on reels two to five at random during normal play. They will substitute for all other symbols, except for scatters, cupcakes, and feature drops.
These are what you want to see! Three scattered white rabbits appearing anywhere on your screen will start the 15 free-spin feature. Unfortunately, the scatters will not appear again during the feature. This doesn’t mean your free-spins have to end at 15, however, as play is extendable. I will explain more about how the feature drop can be extended in the next section.
Random cupcake symbols will appear during the feature drop. Each time a cupcake lands on a reel during the free spins feature, that reel is extended by one symbol. The reels are extendable up to 12 symbols. Here is the good news, when any reel reaches 12 symbols, the free spins feature is retriggered. This will result in between three and 12 additional spins being awarded. The retrigger function can be activated up to five times.
At 12 symbols, the Queen’s reel is activated with enhanced Red Queen symbols, as well as more frequent wild symbols.
At random, the caterpillar visible to the left of your screen will suddenly wake and blow smoke circles at the reels. Where the smoke lands, a 2x or 3x multiplier will appear, spending on how many smoke circles were blown, and that payline is multiplied by the amount indicated. The multipliers can replace all symbols, except for scatters and feature drops. Up to four multipliers may be awarded per spin, and a line of four multipliers could provide a welcome boost to your winnings.
Yet another outstanding feature, and one that I recommend you use. You can buy into the 15 free spin feature drop. Look for the feature drop in the betting screen. The amount displayed is what it will cost you to buy into the feature drop. I found that the lower your bet, the more affordable the feature drop will be. In addition to this, feature drop coins will be randomly awarded. These coins vary in value and will reduce the price of the feature drop. If you are lucky enough to reduce the purchase price to zero, then the feature drop commences automatically.
White Rabbit Graphics & Sound
|Optimized for Mobile||👍|
|Music||Clear, adjusts to features.|
White Rabbit has excellent graphics and animation. The symbols are direct and give a clear understanding of the plays and pays. The soundtrack is average for the industry and does not detract from what is happening on the screen.
Solutions if you have issues with the game
- I experienced no interruptions during play, so I can’tsay with certainty what would happen if there are any. I would assume, as is mostly the case, that the game will revert to the previous spin, and all credits would remain intact.
- If you are experiencing ongoing issues with the game, it’s recommended to take it up with the casino’s customer support team, either through live chat or telephone.
- To quote standard casino lingo – “malfunction voids all plays and pays.”
I liked it a lot. Despite volatility initially being on the high side, this game certainly does give you the potential to come out with some decent winnings. You definitely should buy into the feature drop early in your session, as you can easily recover what you paid to activate it and more. The feature drop is White Rabbit’s biggest drawcard, and once activated, can produce some good payouts. I would have liked to see a stop button for spins during autoplay. You can use the bet button to stop spins, but that means resetting the auto spin function at the end of that spin, which can be annoying. Overall, White Rabbit is good entertainment, with reasonably good winning prospects.
