I was at Sam's town in Tunica, MS on Nov. 13th on a R&M Bus tour. We stayed there for 4 hours. IT was o.k. I did better when
I was there in July. The buffet was wonderful. I didn't have any inner-action with the help. The bathrooms were clean. I did
have fun playing their slots, even though I DID NOT take any of there money with me, as I did in July. I would go back there.

The casino needs to do some work on getting the smoke out of the air. If it were not for that, this would be a really fun casino. I've stayed there several times and I like the layout, the themes and the slots. The buffet is one of the best, especially breakfast. The staff needs to be a little friendlier, but I understand everyone can't be congenial all the time. They are always generous with the comps and they carry over to my visits to Las Vegas. And no matter where I'm staying, I always come play for a while and usually leave on the plus side.

TUNICA SAMS TOWN---BEST BUFFET IN TUNICA SERVING CORKY'S RIBS (W/WET RUB, MMMMM). FREE BEER & WINE AT THE DINNER BUFFET.
CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN, ONE OF ONLY A FEW I'VE ENCOUNTERED IN
CASINO BUFFETS.
TWO LEVEL CASINO, BUT THE UPSTAIRS IS SMALLER. ROOMS WERE LIKE A HOLIDAY INN, ALTHOUGH I'VE READ GLOWING REPORTS ELSEWHERE.
A BOYD PROPERTY SO USE YOUR COMPS/POINTS. DECENT DRINK SERVICE, ALTHOUGH PERSONALLY I'VE HAD OCCASION TO WAIT LONGER THAN EXPECTED IN THE UPSTAIRS AREA. GREAT SENIOR CITIZEN PROMOS, CHECK THEIR WEBSITE.

We regularly visit at least twice a year. There is a second floor that has full pay jacks or better video poker. The poker room spreads low limit hold 'em and comps liberally on a per hour basis. We regularly get mailers that offer free play, free food, and free rooms as often as twice a month. My wife really likes the renovated rooms in the tower.

Husband and I just got back from 5 night stay; Sun.-Thurs. Room was good, nice beds, firm, which is great for me. But the carpet was worn, needs replacing. Cleaning crews were hard at work all over the building constantly; rarely found a dirty ashtray. The huge improvement is the service providers, very friendly, helpful and upbeat! Not so much last year and year before. We play slots, keno and video keno and poker; didn't play table games so I rated that a 3 to be fair. Buffet is good, never had to pay for food, great players card benefits (we were comped 3 night stay). Missed Twain's closed during the week; Snacks n Stuff had a great philly cheese steak.

While in Tunica you have to try Paula Deen's buffet the best dry rub ribs we ever had, better than Corky's. Hollywood has a steak and crabs legs buffet on Thurs. evening, very good.

Won a big jackpot at Sam's Town so we left with good money! We had a great time! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

A few months ago we spent 2 nights at Sam's for the first time. You thought a Motel 6 was bad ?

Must be the worst rooms in town--at least ours was.

On the plus side, the Dinner buffet rates right up there with Paula Deen's !

Hard to beat beer & wine, Corky's ribs(wet rub) & the chocolate fountain available.

I'd recommend playing & eating there, but stay at Hollywood if you like that corner of casinos.

We stayed here for a few hours and played some video poker.

They had a good assortment of 25-cent 9/6 jacks or better, including triple play.

Didn't eat here, but heard that the buffet was good. It even includes a Corky's Barbecue area, which I would have liked to try.

People seem to like the place a lot. Spoke to quite a few locals who love it here.

My wife and I have stayed at many casinos in Miss. and Sam's Town is by far our favorite.

The buffet is great and, most of all, the casino staff are friendly and most helpful.

I'd recommend it to everyone.

When we visit Tunica, we usually stay at Sam's Town RV Park, most of the time free with coupons we get in the mail.

We enjoy the Great Buffet, especially because it is always comped to us. The food is very good and there are many choices: Corkey's bbq, Asian, Italian, and American. They even have a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit and hand-dipped ice cream. The desserts are great.

The casino has a good variety of machines and tables, even live Keno.
