Our favorite place to go!
I am a huge fan of this location because they actually have an awesome childcare facility, a beautiful poker room and free drinks for gamers. I enjoy the new high stakes bingo and soon they will have horse racing. Lots of fun!
Best casino in LA
This is our favorite place to visit in Louisiana. Great poker room, great player's club, and nice hotel. Wife loved the huge slot floor. We got our room comped last time, the only small issue is that some rooms are a long way from the casino, meaning if you feel like playing late at night, you have to drive or take a shuttle. We can't wait to go back, very clean and worth the drive
It was nice
We stayed in one of the "Chalets" that is really a small single mobile home, but it was nice. It was clean, nicely maintained, private and quiet, and really convenient to the hotel and casino.
The gambling is no big deal here - It was OK, but I cannot think of anything memorable about it.
The food was good and fairly priced in the hotel. It was handy having the convenience store/gas station an easily traveled 1/4 mile away.
The staff was nice throughout the whole place. It was not hectic like Las Vegas - it was kind of laid-back.
There are indeed more games and more excitement in Las Vegas, but this place was pleasant. I enjoyed the easy starts in the morning, as the chalet had a kitchen - So, the morning was getting a newspaper and things at the store, relaxing at the little chalet with a cup of coffee...Again, not hectic...relaxing.
Coushatta Casino
Coushatta is a great place. My wife and I are regular visitors and we always have a great time. I have very good luck on the slots, all denominations. The food is good and the staff are the are the best. Great southern hospitality. We love Coushatta.
Great Stop
Great RV Park. Beautiful setting and very well kept. Of course, we lost, but it was a good stop.
RV Park Fantastic
We only stayed one night and really enjoyed ourselves...we just stopped for the night to rest on our way back to Houston....if we would have known how nice the place was, especially the RV park we would have planned to stay longer....had fun in the Casino and the food was great....we will be back!
Maybe next time the casino will be nicer to us and let us win!! Oh..I see that some people talk about the Players club, we signed up here and usually the casino's will give you something to start you off playing in the casino (at least the other casinos have)....Coushatta didn't, maybe after we get some points added up on our card we will see some benefits....still had fun and will come back!

Better than Vegas
My wife, daughter, son -in law and I go to Coushatta 4 or 5 times a year. From Austin it is a short 5 hour drive but well worth it. It would cost 2 of us around 1000.00 for airfare and hotel in Vegas. If you have a Players Club card your stay is really inexpensive and most times will cost nothing . Coushatta is very generous with comps. Customer service has always been tops with us, from the staff to the food and the rooms. The buffet breakfast at the Terrace Cafe is as good as anywhere in Vegas and half the price. The slots seem to pay better and they are constantly updated with new and exciting machines. So why in the world would you go thru the hassle and cost of going to Vegas ? Wish I were there now instead of sitting here at work wishing I were there. Try it out once and you will see what I'm talking about. Good luck !!
Great RV Spot
Great spot for an RV vacation. The RV park provides large, inexpensive parking sites in an attractive setting. Had fun at the casino playing slots. A decent place to stop.
