I Don't like it
This place has gone downhill over time. It used to be fun and good employee service, but not anymore.
Fun Place to Play Slots
Jackpot Junction is a fun place to play the slots and just hang out a night or two.
The video slots are really fun! If you are betting max you can get big hits and a much better pay out. If you are playing smaller credits, then the slots pay an occasional $40 to $60 hit. But you will get enough payouts to keep you playing for a while.
The food at the Dakotah Restaurant was quick and great tasting. The Ceasar Chicken wrap was very tasty and the onion rings were crisp and hot. The Swiss Mushroom burger is really big! It comes with enough fries for two people. So I can say my husband and I were really stuffed.
The room was very nice. It was quiet, restful and clean. It was also very cold on the hot day we were at the Casino. I had to turn the Carrier Air conditioner up to 74 degrees because it was just too cold. Boy did it feel great at nap time.
I will definitely recommend Jackpot Junction to my friends. It's a nice little get away when you are looking for a quick trip away from home.
not worth going anymore
We used to go here quite a bit, but for a while now, the slots have been terrible. It doesnt matter which game you play or how you bet, you cant even play. The spins are nothing nothing nothing. I dont why they have tightened up so much, but it just hasnt been fun for a while now. Gonna stay away for awhile.
I Hit The Jackpot
My husband and I were in the area for a family gathering and stay at Jackpot Junction. We had a great time! Employees were friendly, our hotel stay was very relaxing and we won! We definitely feel like we Hit The Jackpot!
Player Beware!
I used to play here a lot and had fun...BUT then they changed out most of the machines last year (MUCH tighter).
They took out most of the fun video poker progessive machines and slots! They claimed they couldn't get the parts (not true as they were typical MN machines).
Bad air quality when it's busy! Player beware! Impossible to win!
Not so bad
I go to this place quite a bit. All I have to say is this casino used to pay on a pretty regular basis (at least enough to keep you playing on what you brought). Now it's almost impossible to win anything unless you are max betting.
The players club has always left something to be desired they don't offer much free play. They do however offer hotel and dining discounts. For the size of the casino and the amount of traffic they get through there you'd think they'd pay better.
Like I said it's a fun place and the hotel is nice (you do get alot of drunks being loud in the halls or in rooms around you and the walls are thin). I have cut back on going here and don't think I have been here in about a month because of the payouts not being good at all.
You will easily spend a few hundred dollars if you're not a big bettor, if you max bet on everything then go your chances of winning increases 100%!
Nice Place
Very nice, clean hotel. My husband and I both won pretty good. Me on pennies and him on nickels and quarters.
We didn't really care for the old fashioned nickel/quarter machines, tho. Didn't really have many dollar and quarter machines. LOTS of pennies.
