Good hotel no pay slots
Always have a great time here!
Make a point to stop here and spend the night on my way across the country. Been here 5 times and always treated well. Rooms clean and neat. Food is great. Slot payoffs could be a little better, but still fun!
On march 24, 2016 was there during the shooting, dead shot up body laying on the ground next to a grey/silver chrysler whatching the fat security guard running back in like he never ran that fast before in his life, and told by the unprofessional staff we coudnt leave, after the most traumatic expierence were offered a room, but gave a new meaning to 'Indian Giver' as we were approached by security and told they were taking back the room because we werent in it. We had been playing to get our mind off the devistation that had occured and with no human compassion and to make a quick buck on the room decided to kick us out. Stay away far the worst place to ever go or possibly get killed, low classed trash place i never plan on going there ever again.
waste place ever
The slots r a waste of money.the people that work are beyond rude. The casino smell like a nursing home, plus u spend more time driving over there than. What you playing!!!!! Don't waste your time!!!!!
What I like about a casino like this is the size is about right. I am not fond of the huge casinos that take 15 minutes to get across. This is a full service casino with everything within a reasonable distance, you can see across the place! The food was moderately good, the slots were modern and updated. The best thing about it was the poker room (I am a poker player mostly). It was large, clean, and an enclosed non-smoking poker room which is the most important aspect of a casino to me. Very nice.
What a cute place and fun too!
This is a very cute and fun casino. Love the restaurant. Food was very good and very fresh.
Can't say I won a bunch of money but left with more than I came in with which is always fun. The staff is friendly and the slots clean.
One thing that is important to me is the cleanliness of the Casino. This casino is very clean especially the machines. Thanks to the staff for that.
Table Games and Amenities or Hotel 1 star because I did not use.
One of the best casinos
We stopped at Route 66 casino on our way home from Arizona in March of 2010. We have been to casinos in Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Arizona, and Mississippi. This by far was the best one out of all of them. The casino is really clean, the people are very friendly, and the gaming was outstanding. On our next trip out west we will surely stop for a couple of days.
Also the food was very good.
Route 66 is Great
I Love The 6. It's Big, Clean and Fun. Lots of Slots and Tables. The Buffet on Thursday and Friday Nights is Outstanding. $19.95 for all the Seafood you and Eat (Crab, Clams, Mussels, Oysters on the Half Shell, Shrimp, Tri Tip Steak, Pizza etc. Beer,Wine and Lobster Tails Available for Extra. Very Affordable compared to Red Lobster or Landry's.
Main Street Bar and Restaurant has great Lumberjack Breakfast and Filet and Lobster for dinner. Snack Bar has Really Good Nasty Nachos. 3 Bars now with Friendly and Great Bartenders, they are expanding again and adding more bars. Parking is easy, 2 valets. Hotel is clean with Huge TV in Room.
Wish they would add an RV Park or at least a dump station. Will Let us Park overnight with our RV for Free in designated RV Parking. Slots are a little slow but so is the economy. Theater is large with 2 bars and 2 sets of bathrooms. 21 to Gamble or Drink. No Booze on the Gambling Floor or Hotel, coffee and Soda Stations everywhere.
They have a Kids Quest for kids and a Video arcade for teens, My Nephews 8 and 10 love it. Security is Great and EVERYONE is FREINDLY. They have a smaller more casual casino for travelers and the Truck Drivers that do not want to ride the shuttle to the Big Casino. Not the largest or fanciest in New Mexico But our Favorite!
My favorite casino in the nation
I love this casino. It's big, they bring in new machines often, it's very clean, and you can play a while and have fun even if you don't win big. The casino is great. I haven't played table games or had much to do with customer service or the players club. Their buffet used to be wonderful, but since they expanded it and raised the prices, it leaves me as cold as the food I ate last time. What used to be a more intimate seating area is now like the common area of a mall with tables in it, the noise level is loud, and by the time you walk down the very lengthy buffet and back to your table, your food is cold. I wish they had not remodeled and "improved" their buffet, I won't go back again. Their KXX nightclub is where you can have some alcohol although not allowed to take it out to the casino floor. The problem I found with it is that they must take the name "nightclub" very seriously, having a "dress code" and a very snobbish attitude -- dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, I was ignored by the staff for the most part and received sneering disdainful looks when they did serve me. Again, I won't go back in there. BUT.... I will continue to go to the casino for the slot machines, where I have a good time and staff members you see are all smiling and friendly, including the cashier cage.
Great atmosphere. Many slot machine choices.
Bring back memories at Johnny Rocket's restaurant.
