Were trying to frequent at least 4 times a year but unlike the sister casino in Niagara, they are tight with comp rooms. Every time we call there is nothing available so we don't return. Understand in ski season but time of year does not seem to matter any more.
We live near Toronto so it was a nice trip on the motorcycle and nice destination.
Hotel is excellent (when you can get a comp room!) and the food is very good in the restaurant and the buffet. One of the better buffets.
Wish they had a bigger smoke free area, in fact we wish all casinos were completely smoke free. The world for that matter! (Smoked for 26 years and quit 25 years ago)
Slots are typically tight but no worse than others. Drink service leaves something to desire, you need to corral the servers and keep a close eye for them or they disappear pretty quickly.
Would recommend it as it is one of the better casino/hotels and a class place to visit.

"Experienced Craps Player" posted something quite interesting.

He claimed that the casino's permitting him to remove Pass Line / Don't Pass bets after the "come out roll"

creates an advantageous situation. HE could not be wrong.

For the Pass Line Player he loses his bet when a 12 (6-6) is rolled on the "come-out".

This occurs once in every 367 rolls — 2.8% That DOUBLE'S the chances of the player losing.

The wager, when left untouched, gives the house an advantage of 1.4%

For the Don't Pass Line Player the situation is worse yet.

ALL numbers that become the player's ("point") i.e. 4,5,6,8,9,10 are advantageous for the "Don't Bettor"

ALL casinos permit the shooter, betting the "Dont's" to pull down that bet because the player holds a significant

advantage of 33% on the 4 and 10,, 20% on the 5 and 9, and 9% on the 6 and 8.

I have played Craps for > 30 years and I have taken graduate courses in statistics.

There is no arguable point here. It is NOT a matter of opinion. The math is simple. If the player wishes to make it much harder to win, the casino is simply obliging him in his self-destruction.

EXPERIENCED CRAPS PLAYER HERE

When I arrived and found out their craps rules I was pleasantly surprised. If a player does not like what comes up on the first roll (other than 7/11 2/3) he can take his money off the table. Thats a tremendous player advantage and I had never played under rules that were that benefical to the player. There were not many players on the days I was there. Perhaps 4 including me. Most everyone was betting 5 or 10. I was betting 50. I lost $1000 in roughly a half hour. That has never happened to me at that speed ever in the 5 years I have been playing craps. I was playing safe and playing the donts and always removed my bet if 6/8 came up and always took full odds if 4/10/5/9 came up.

Either I had a very unlucky day or the game is rigged. I'll let u decide which.

The last time I was there I didn't do too badly. I feel the payouts are better than other casinos in the area. The food is excellant.

All workers there seem extremely pleasant & most helpful. Located near ski country and Allegany State Park. Beautiful ride to get there!

For me this casino is more like Las Vegas casinos than any other in Great Lakes area. Newest machines, Vegas style buffet.
