Revenue from Slot Machines Down at Pennsylvania Casinos in July
The state's 12th and newest casino, the Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin just opened on July 1st and brought in $2.4 million from slot machines, but even with this added source of revenue, numbers were not looking good.
Harrah's Philadelphia saw the largest increase in slot revenue, down 14.6 percent from last year, and even Parx casino which has been bringing in some of the highest slot revenues saw a 3.5 percent decrease in revenue from slot machines.
In contrast, slot revenue at the Valley Forge Casino Resort was up 57.3 percent last month, the highest in the state. Revenue from slots was also up at Rivers Casino in July, but only by 2.53%.
